I read the reviews and thought “no way is the slit that high!” It IS that high! Granted, I am 6’1”, so I had this coming for me… but in no world did I expect the slit to go up to my bikini line. My bikini line! The 4 fit perfectly on top, but this slit went to my HIP…. Unfathomable. The 6 with pins on top was okay though, and I also pinned the slit. Still crazy high, but not so high I was about to give everyone a free show.

WOW- amazing dress. It took a minute to figure out how to get it on (I had my head in the wrong hole), but after that, wow! Fit perfectly and I felt great in it. I’m 6’1” and had no issue with the slit being too high. I have a small bust so it was no problem going braless (no nipple tape needed for me…). 100/10.

This was too tight for me on the bottom, and too big on top. I needed safety pins and tape, and it still kept falling down. That said, I knew going into this that this dress might not fit me well because I am so small on top with larger hips. If you know that this style of dress will fit you, it’s a very fun dress! I wore it with heels one night and converse the next. Great for a wedding after party.

There is very little give or stretch in this dress. I read the reviews saying that it runs small, and I decided on an 8, even though I am oftentimes a 6 or an 8. I ordered a size up for my back-up like Rent the Runway recommended. I should have gone with the 6. The 8 was massive! BUT, true to size perhaps for people who are a size 8. My only thought was that the women that wrote it ran small have been victims of vanity sizing at other stores...this does not run small! True to size or a smidge big... It was so big I tried to use safety pins to pin the top in, but the material is so thick (not hot) that I couldn't. You could have fit two hands down the back it was so big. The neck straps and the key hole on top didn't look good because it was so big. Overall, I just had a baggy dress all night long! You can see in one of the photos just how baggy the dress was on top. I would recommend going with your normal size, and if you have a small top like I do, going with a different dress. You really need large C or D cups to fill it out.
