Really wanted to love this dress but while it fit well in the busy it ballooned out in the waist in an unattractive way. Just too much fabric and not enough fitting. Seems like it may run a bit large in that way.

Great skirt but runs a bit larger. Typical 10-12 with average hips. The 50 was quite big, wearable but loose and not as fitted to me as intended.

Such a beautiful, classy, fun and comfortable dress. Wore this to the White House for a few things. Felt professional and glamorous and really comfy. Great dress.

I love Trina Turk but found this dress runs a bit small particularly in the chest. The material is a rougher cotton so that might be why. Really is a pretty dress with a built in slip.

Wish i would have gotten the L, not XL. The XL seems to be a better fit for a typical Size 16 or 18, than a US Size 10 or 12 (me).

Beautiful fall color and classic fit/dress
Love love love. The dress fit beautiful, maybe a teensy right around my postpartum tummy but plenty of room for larger chests, great arm comfort, and a beautiful tailoring at the waist to accentuate an hourglass figure. Very comfortable to wear. Received so many compliments. Would rent or buy!

Beautiful dress, with pockets, but runs large
This is a beautiful, well tailored dress made of a heavy, thick material. The dress is pleated and structured well, and the heavy material ensures the pleating stays in place. It also creates a lovely hourglass shape by ensuring the soft flare out from the natural waist. The dress appears to run large; I'm a very standard 12 with a full chest and defined hourglass shape. A 10 likely would have been a better fit and better defining for me, but I was nervous it would be too small and I'd be out of luck. The 12 was still lovely but did feel a bit unnecessarily full, so to speak. Really a lovely, updated 50s style cocktail dress great for work receptions and speaking engagements. Just try your size and a size down as a back up!

Classic LBD that runs small
This is a beautiful, classic black dress that can easily be dressed up or down to cover the business formal or business casual continuum. Unfortunately, the dress appears to run quite small. I'm a typical 12 in Trina Turk, J Crew, etc. but this dress would need to be a 14, perhaps 16. There are two zippers, one for the top part of the dress and one on the side for the bottom, making a larger fit very necessary to get into and out of the dress. I'm sad it didn't work out but would love to try again in a 14 or 16.

Pretty dress but a bit dowdy
The dress was very pretty but the pattern and the length of the sleeve made the overall look a bit dowdy. Also, the buttons do pull a bit if you're busty, which made it not quite work for me.
