Perfect wide leg jeans
Citizens does it again. They make the most flattering jeans for those of us with thicker thighs. I absolutely loved these. I tried them on and immediately purchased. I have looked far and wide for flattering wide leg jeans that are flattering on my figure and these finally delivered

So many compliments!
I wore this on a date night to dinner and a concert. I was a little iffy about it, because it required a ton of steaming to get the ruffles to lay correctly. I wasn’t sure if it was worth it, but it totally was. It is super flattering, feminine, and everywhere I went I received compliments from strangers (which is not a normal occurrence for me). It’s cropped but paired well with a medium rise jean. The ruffle on the bottom gives you the perfect amount of coverage while still keeping with the cropped aesthetic. I am 5’6”, 150, 36B, 29” waist, longer through the torso than my legs, and I would 100% rent this again… may even buy it.

I bought it
This is my second time renting this top and I ended up buying it. It’s perfect for any casual summer day. For my body type, it’s the perfect cropped length and every time I wear it, I get a ton of compliments.

Lovely as a high end cover up
I wore this to a luxury spa as a cover up and it was perfect. I’m pretty curvy through the hips (very pear shaped) and I felt like this dress highlighted that in the most flattering way. It is crochet, so there are holes everywhere and no lining, so depending on your sensibilities, you may need a slip or shape-wear, etc… which is why I chose to use it as a cover up. The straps are adjustable, which was nice, given my smaller upper body, I was able to pull it so it wasn’t too low cut for my body shape. Would definitely rent again for similar occasions.

Ran a tad small
This shirt is really cute but ran just a tad small. I’m almost always a standard medium on top (36B, 29” waist, relatively long torso). This was a great length but would definitely suggest sizing up if in doubt. (I did in fact get a large in my next shipment and it was more flattering)

Gorgeous dress
This dress fit just right (I’m 5’6”, 150lbs, normally a size 6-8 on top and ten on bottom, pear shape; 36B,29,40). Also perfect length. I didn’t have a chance to wear it, as I didn’t have any appropriate occasions on my calendar (it’s pretty dressy) but will definitely consider re-renting for a wedding or similar in the future.

Gorgeous print but poorly sewn seams
I wanted to love this dress but this is the second time I’ve rented it (previously in the blue and white print), and both times the seams through the waist and hips have been awful. I thought it might have just been a mistake on that particular dress last time but it appears to be a design flaw. They are very wavy seams, that clearly were not cut or sewn to be flattering on wider hips. Honestly I’ve never seen anything quite like it in another garment. Admittedly, I have a pear shape and so possibly it would not be an issue on a different body shape; I don’t know? The dress fits me fine, but the seams don’t lie flat, which is just distorting to the eye, and completely unfortunate on a figure like mine. Additionally, as a pear shape, I typically wear a six up top and ten on the bottom… I rented this dress in a large to accommodate my hips but still found the elastic in the arms to be very tight, which is rarely an issue for me, given that my upper body is pretty small compared to my lower half.

Very large in the shoulders and small in the waist
Based on other reviews, I went up in size on this garment, because of the small waist. However, even in what would normally be 1-2 sizes larger than what I typically wear on top, this waist was a little uncomfortably tight… like i would be fine in the morning but uncomfortable if I ate much. It’s an odd cut because the shoulders are so wide… I just have a hard time imagining a woman with broad enough shoulders and a narrow enough waist for this to be really flattering. Super cute concept and the length was great for a crop top, but the execution is lacking.

Absolutely gorgeous
This top is everything! It is so cute and would be perfect for vacation or any outdoor activity in warm weather. It is lined only in the breast area, but shows your skin everywhere else, so perhaps not the best top for a modest event. I’m a very consistent size medium on my top half (34B, 29” waist) and it was a little bigger than anticipated, but still very wearable. If in between size and smaller on the top, consider sizing down. You cannot wear a bra with it and there is no support, so you either need to go without a bra or wear a sticky bra/pasties. Overall I love it and am considering purchasing despite the exorbitant price tag

Volume in the hips
I ended up not wearing this - it fit oddly in my hips. I already have large hips and this added volume there. If you're needing some added curve to your hips. this is the dress for you. It fit great everywhere else, but I just don't need added volume there.

Cute casual top
It's a cute top that is relatively comfortable (although the tag was super scratchy and I had to put a dress tape over it to make it comfortable... but an easy fix). I wore it to an outdoor brewery with my parents, husband and kids. It was cute and appropriate, and stayed in place despite moving around a lot to pick up my toddlers. I even got hit on when buying a beer, which hasn't happened in a while, so I guess that's a win!

I sized up and wish I hadn't.
Usually the reviews on this site are a godsend but this time they led me astray. I sized up after reading this dress ran small. Occasionally, because of wide hips, I have to size up in fitted dresses, which is what I did here, and it was a mistake. I am absolutely swimming in this dress, from head to toe there's about 2 inches of fabric hanging off of me on either side. It's a gorgeous dress and I'll definitely rent again, but in my normal size.

Small through the hips and very wide shoulders
This dress was just not made for someone like me. I am more of an athletic pear shape, and this dress is made for someone with narrower hips and broader shoulders. I didn't end up wearing it because it was uncomfortable through my hips. Additionally I felt like the shoulders were too much for the occasion I had in mind. It's a cute dress for the right figure,l and occasion, but not for me

I'm am almost universally a size medium on top, or if anything occasionally a small. However this medium was very small and tight. It's a really cute jacket for running around town or to wear pre and post workout, but I definitely recommend sizing up.

Perfect casual sweater!
I loved this and wore it multiple times. It's baggy, but in a flattering way somehow and hit just at the right point to pair with high waisted pants. I wore it both on vacation and around town, day and night. It can easily be dressed up or down. I may purchase it in the future, because it was so versatile and flattering.

Cute and flattering
I personally sized down from a medium to a small based on other reviews and was glad I did. It is a really cute top and very flattering. I wore it on a date last week and am planning to wear it to a super bowl party next week before I return it. It is see-through around the waist (it has backing through the bust, but not below it) and is pretty short, so definitely best paired with high-waisted jeans unless you want to show a lot of mid-drift.

I absolutely loved the fit of these jeans; they were super flattering on my pear shape figure, so I ended up deciding to buy them. I normally wear an 8/29 in jeans, and these were pretty true to size. They are a little big in the waist because I'm smaller in my torso than my hips and butt, but not enough that I would recommend sizing down.

Very cute but ran large
I loved this top but it definitely ran large in my opinion. I rented the size 8 (which is my normal size the vast majority of the time) and it hung very loosely on me. I still loved it, and wore it multiple times in the month I had it, but it was just looser than I expected. I may very well rent it again in a future month, but will size down if I do.

Wasn't super flattering, at least not on me
I loved the quality and color of this dress, but in the end did not wear it because it just wasn't very flattering. I ordered a size 10 because many of the review for other Jay Godfrey dresses reported them running small, so I ordered up a size and I shouldn't have for this specific dress. Besides being large in the waist (which is my own fault for ordering a size too large) it was very bulky on the top with all the ruffles. In the end, it's a nice dress but not my cup of tea.

Very Flattering and Comfy Dress
I wore this to an outdoor rehearsal dinner and it was perfect. I received lots of compliments and yet was comfortable all night, even while caring for our baby. The only thing is, it does have horizontal stripes right at the waist, so it's something to be cognizant of. I'm normally somewhere between a 6 and 8 in dresses and the medium fit great without being too tight through the chest and was relatively loose through the waist and hips. I also wore this to work once while I had it, with a denim jacket, so it was easy to dress up and down.

Fantastic Dress - So Many Compliments
I rented this dress for a wedding - I know Elizabeth and James dresses run small so I went up to a 10 (normally I'm somewhere between a 6 and 8). It was perfect (the picture I have doesn't do it justice) and I received so many compliments from men and women. It's sexy without being over the top. I wore it for 14 hours and it held up incredibly well - I felt like it looked just as nice at 11pm as it did when I put it on at 9am. I also was able to wear a regular bra, which is always a plus. The fabric is thick and sturdy, so there was no need for spanx and the cut is very flattering, especially if you have a smaller waist and wider hips.

This shirt was a perfect transition piece to wear from work, errands, and happy hour.
I really loved this shirt; it fit a little loose, but that's how it's supposed to be. However, if you're on the fence about size, I would size down. I wore a medium but could have worn a small. I've only worn it once (rented it for a month with RTR Update), to work with jeans and booties, and have already received many compliments. I will definitely be wearing it to other upcoming events this month; it's easy to dress up or down.
