I would have expected the L to have room in the waist, but the waist was a little snug. That said, they weren't uncomfortable. I loved them and got lots of compliments.

These are not my typical style. For me, wide leg jean usually looks too big overall, but the fit on these are snug through waist and hips and loose in the legs, making it more flattering. The material is quite soft and comfortable. If I had purchased them, I'd have them hemmed - they're too long for sneakers or flats.

It took 3 times to get the fit right, but once I did the fit was perfect. I wore this a few times - out to dinner, out site seeing and to an afternoon party. It's casual enough for day, and dressy enough for evening.

A snug fit.
I ordered one size up from my usual size but it was still a little snug in the chest - I was happy to take it off at the end of the night. That said I think the 12 would have been overall too big. So maybe this isn't for the larger chested women. That said, it looked nice and I received many compliments.
