Great for work
Love the petite sizing! I'm 5'2" and these hit right at my ankle. I feel like the rise was a little high - not sure if that's because I am curvy through the hips and it was forcing it higher or not, but it was comfortable so I don't think that's the issue, just the cut/style. But if you're petite consider your proportions... if short waisted, it might not be ideal. I took these with me on a trip for work and they packed well and were nice and light to wear in Florida.

Cute and Warm
This sweater is nice quality and very warm. The cut is pretty boxy and quite cropped - it worked for me at 5’2” but might be too short if you’re a tall gal. I wore it a few times - running errands, working from home, etc.

Size down maybe?
A little big for my petite frame, and not in a cute, intentionally oversized way. It was long in the sleeves and body, so it might be better for someone taller. It came new and looks nice now, but I feel like this material tends to show every mark. Nice creamy beige color.

Maybe size up
These technically fit me but they were standing jeans only - super tight through the hips and thigh, so I didn't end up wearing. Might work better for someone with narrower hips/less of a butt - I usually have to buy curvy for or size up and take in the waist (for reference my waist is 29" and hips are 41"ish, I’m usually an 8, occasionally a 6 or 10). The length hit at a slightly off spot on me too - I would've wanted them to be either an inch longer or 2-3 inches shorter.

These are the first barrel jeans I’ve actually liked on me! They’re not too dramatic but still a fun change from my standard straight or wide leg jeans. I struggled a little to figure out what shoes to wear with them… they were slightly too cropped to wear with some of my ankle boots but I didn’t love them with flats or loafers. Fun to step outside of my comfort zone! I often have to take jeans in at the waist and these fit me well - my measurements are below. Waist - 29” Hips - 40.5”

Cute + Cropped
Love love this sweater! Tempted to buy. I’m petite and this is the perfect cropped length, and the sleeves are only slightly too long (I rolled it back to cuff slightly). I wore this out to brunch with friends, to a winery, and on Teams calls working from home.

I’m normally a medium or 6/8 in Veronica Beard, but this is preposterously large, even for an intentionally oversized look. Cute print though and I liked the pintucks on the bodice! But couldn’t wear, obviously.

Gorgeous, high quality dress
I absolutely loved this dress - felt like a modern, well-adjusted Betty Draper. Per usual for a Cara Cara dress, this is extremely well made, with snaps in between the buttons on the torso to avoid gapping. My only gripe is that RTR has started sewing belts on (which, I get it) and the wag this is sewn, the buckle is off center. This fit well for my petite hourglass frame. Depending on the brand / style I can be anywhere from a 6-10 in dresses and I took a 6 in this, so maybe size down, especially if you aren’t busty. My measurements: Chest: 38” Waist: 29” Hips: 40”

Well made and super flattering
This dress is amazing - well constructed, nice heavy fabric, flatting fit, pockets, great pattern. Slightly wrinkly when it arrived / I took this picture but it took to steaming well. It was a hair too long for me in the straps and there was a little extra material in the torso but sizing down would’ve been too small in the bust. TBH I considered buying this and getting it altered, but since it’s almost the end of summer I’m resisting the urge. My measurements are: C: 38 W: 29 H: 40

Weird fit on a larger bust
This was made of a nice heavy yarn and I liked the cropped length but the fit wasn’t right for me. Not sure if it’s a petite problem or a large bust problem or the combo of both, but lots of extra fabric in the armpit giving me wings. My measurements: 38 bust 29 waist 40 hips

Weird Fit
There was a little pulling on the bust which is not shocking for me. The main issue was the massive amount of extra fabric on the front of the shoulders…. you can only kind of tell in the picture but I could’ve fit a family of four in there. Maybe it would’ve worked on someone taller? The fabric was nice and crisp so for a different body type this could be nice. My measurements are: C: 38 W: 29 H: 40

Sad because I wanted to love this! Waaaay too long in the sleeve and the skirt for me. I think the shade of white is wrong for me - it’s ever so slightly gray / cool toned. Maybe it’s a blessing because it was also was very wrinkly and it would’ve been a PITA to steam a whole maxi dress. If you’re tall and do well in a muted, cool tone palette, this is for you!!

Flattering / Compliment Getter
Looooooove this dress! I wore this on a business trip and it was comfortable all day long and got so many compliments. It didn’t wrinkle in my suitcase so it’s ideal for travel. The material is silky but not shiny. I’m often hesitant to order shirt dress styles because I have a large chest and a small frame - if it fits my shoulders / waist, it’s likely going to be gapping. I did not have that issue with this dress, probably because of the v neck and adjustable waist tie. My measurements are below: Bust: 38” (30i) Waist: 29” Hips: 40.5”

Heavy & High Quality
This cardigan is gorgeous and I am probably about 48 hours away from talking myself into buying it - it’s expensive but so versatile. The material is a thick, heavy knit - would be ideal for fall/winter but also a cold office. The buttons are very nice - they are black and gold. The color is a warm toned army / olive green - I think it would work best with black pants or denim (not the navy pants I’m wearing in this pic). This fit me well in the torso - I am petite and quite busty but was able to button this the whole way without gapping or awkward pulling and I liked the cropped length. It is a hair tight in the arms but would possibly loosen up a bit with wear (I carry weight in my upper arms so if your measurements are otherwise similar to mine you might not have that problem). The length of the sleeves is perfect on me - they might be too short for taller gals. I am 5’2” and my measurements are below: Bust: 39” (30i bra) Waist: 29” Hips: 41”

Well Made but Boxy
This is a well made jacket and it’s in great shape - no pilling, fraying, etc. Unfortunately it was too big / boxy on my petite, busty frame - especially from the side, it hung diagonally off my chest like a tent. That said I did like the cropped length of the body, and the sleeves weren’t TOO long. I think this would work well on someone petite to average height that has a smaller chest. I am usually a size medium or 6/8 but sometimes size up in jackets and/or designer brands - I rented a large in this because the Gaspard cardigan from the same brand is a hair tight in the arms in a medium and it’s a knit so it has some give. It’s possible sizing down to a medium would help with the sleeves/shoulders, but I think I’d have the same problem with the fit on the chest/torso because the material is fairly structured. I am 5’2” and my measurements are below: Bust: 39” (30i bra) Waist: 29” Hips: 41”

Nice Quality - Size Down
This is a well made cardigan - heavier weight (ideal for fall/winter or a frigid office) and the buttons are fun without looking cheap / tacky (a pet peeve of mine for many cardigans/jackets of this style). That said, I would recommend sizing down. I typically wear a medium or size 6-8 and felt that the medium in this was big enough where it just looked sloppy rather than intentionally oversized. The cropped length was good for me, but the sleeves were too long. I might try renting again in a small but it may just be that this is designed for a looser fit, which imo sort of clashes with the polished style of the stripes / buttons. I am 5’2 and my measurements are below: Bust: 39” (bra size 30i) Waist: 29” Hips: 41”

Comfy and Flattering for Work
I rented this dress to take on a work trip and it’s perfect - comfy, flattering, doesn’t wrinkle and doesn’t take up too much space in the suitcase. I am quite busty but also petite so it can be hard to find clothes that aren’t either too big in the shoulders or too tight across the chest. This fit in both places with no gapping at the buttons. The sleeves are a tad too long but because they’re fitted at the wrist it isn’t especially noticeable. The waist tie also makes this adjustable and super flattering - a few other reviewed seemed to have issues with them but the key is to pull them diagonally up across your torso instead of straight across. I am 5’2” and my measurements are below - Bust - 39” (30I bra) Waist - 29” Hips - 41”

Lizzie McGuire is an outfit repeater
Rented this dress to wear to weddings twice in the past two months because I love it that much. It’s comfortable and flattering and you can wear a REGULAR BRA! The fabric is bias cut so it drapes nicely and has a bit of give. The first time I rented a large (picture with man in suit), second time medium (picture with women / mirror pic). The large worked but imo the medium was more flattering - the arm holes were a little too long on me in the large (I’m 5’2”) and there was excess fabric in the waist/torso. My measurements / bra size are below - Chest: 39” (32g) Waist: 29” Hips: 41”

Soft and Flattering
This is one of my favorite rentals of all time and if it is ever available in my size again I’ll probably buy it. It’s super soft - not itchy at all - and warm but not too hot. I typically wear a large but in most Lilly Pulitzer sweaters, including this one, I take a medium. This is a great length for petites - it can be hard to find sweaters that aren’t either cropped or too long. If you have a larger bust and want to be able to wear buttoned up I would recommend sizing up, however, I think this works better open because it has the matching shell.

This dress is really high quality. The fabric is a nice knit - not too heavy and not too thin, not see through at all. It does cling to the body so I would advise some kind of shapewear. That said, I have no idea what possessed me to rent this because it’s obviously not right for my body type but here we are. On me it’s giving if Blair Waldorf met Galadriel and joined a cult but it would be fabulous on someone taller with less curves.

Almost perfect
I rented this dress twice, once in a 10 and once in a 12. I’m a bit between sizes - the 10 was wearable but squished my bust a bit, the 12 was fine in the chest but a little loose in the waist which was not the most flattering. I would say this works if you have a large chest, but maybe not if you have a high bust to waist ratio. That said, this dress is absolutely gorgeous and I will probably rent again for formal events in the spring or summer. The fabric hangs so nicely and the pattern is even more gorgeous in person.

Big and Boxy
The fit notes for this item indicate UK sizing but this is incorrect - take your regular size. I ordered based on my UK size and was disappointed when it arrived. That said, the cut is very boxy and long (which to be fair, you can tell from the pictures), so even in the correct size it likely would not have been flattering on me. I gave this 4 stars because the quality is excellent (as expected from Barbour) and it would look great on someone 5’5” or taller.

I typically wear a size 10-14 in tops depending on the cut, but I was absolutely drowning in this sweater. Too long, too wide, too thick - big miss for me. The fabric was also very itchy. I don’t recommend this unless you’re very tall and have broad shoulders and a smaller bust.

This is a great bag for everyday! The leather is a beautiful color and you can tell it’s well made. My only gripe was that as a petite gal, the strap was a little long to wear on my shoulder, but that’s a me problem, not the bag.

Bad Fit for Hourglass Shapes
I wanted to love this, but the fit was off for me - the waist was an inch or two too large and while it fit around my hips but it didn’t have the same flared look as it does on the model (though it wasn’t pulling tight or unflattering in that area). For reference, I have a 31” waist and 45” hips. I gave it two stars because the color is great and the material was comfortable - it’s probably great for women with a lower waist/hip ratio. UNDERGARMENTS Underwear: thick material, you can wear whatever you want. Shapewear: this is long enough that most women could probably wear Spanx shorts underneath if they wanted.

Flattering and High Quality
I had rented this to wear to a conference for work but did not end up attending. Instead I wore this for some video calls because I work from home. It looked great on camera - the color really popped. I highly recommend this dress - the color is gorgeous, the cut is flattering, and the fabric is thick and high quality but not in a way that makes you look bulky (as sweater dresses sometimes do). That said, I’m 5’2” and the sleeves were very long on me - I rolled them two or three times so they’d hit at my wrists. There was also some extra material in the armpit/shoulder area. Not sure if this was due to my height or more because so because I have narrow shoulders and a large bust - either way, it wasn’t a *perfect* fit which is why I only gave this four stars. UNDERGARMENTS Bra - I was able to wear a regular bra with this dress. The material is thick enough that you should be able to get away with wearing an unlined bra if that’s your preference. Underwear - Same note as above - the material is thick enough you shouldn’t have to worry about panty lines, though seamless is probably best. Shapewear - while this dress is very flattering on it’s own, I wore this with Spanx shorts because I’m very curvy in the hips/butt and felt more confident that way.

The perfect summer dress
I cannot say enough good things about this dress! I wore this at least 3 or 4 times before I ended up buying it - once to a family reunion, once to visit a botanical garden, once for date night and then just everyday. SIZING - Runs a little big. I’m typically a L to XXL depending on the brand, but I took a large in this dress, and probably could have sized down to a medium. My measurements are 32-34g bust, 32” waist, 45” hips. - Check the brand’s size guide and use the measurement for the bust to make your decision. - If you have thick arms (as I do) this dress is great. The arms are elastic and you can adjust where you want them to land so it’s most flattering for you. COLOR - The color is beautiful, maybe not universally flattering but it’s a fairly neutral red so it could work for cool or warm undertones. FABRIC/CONSTRUCTION - The fabric is sturdy and has a nice drape. I wore this in humid, nearly 100-degree weather and was pretty comfortable. Not see through at all. The construction is excellent - even stitching and seams, no loose threads, and the smocking is flattering (which I find is not always the case with a larger chest). UNDERGARMENTS Bra - I was able to wear a regular, demi cup bra with this dress. Underwear/Shapewear - this is loose from the waist down so whatever you prefer will work.

I am not sharing a picture because this gave me the worst cameltoe imaginable to the point that it was kind of comical. Other than that, these fit as shown on the model through the waist/legs. I think these could work well for someone on the short side with thicker legs, but definitely not a butt (my measurements are 32” waist, 45” hips, 5’2” with relatively balanced torso/legs). The color on these are exactly as pictured and they would be so cute on someone they fit well!

Awkward fit
I’m sad this didn’t work for me because I wanted to love it! It’s a gorgeous color and is well constructed. The fabric feels thick and high quality without being too heavy. I gave this 4 stars because while it didn’t work for me, it would clearly be wonderful on someone with the right fit. I am a 34g and have a 32” waist, 45” hips. The 14 Petite was the perfect length and fit well across my chest and hips, but the triangle shaped panel on the bodice and the darts on the back at the hip area just didn’t quite sit right. There was a bit too much fabric at the waist. My backup size, 12R, also fit well across the chest and hips, but had the same issue with too much fabric in the torso, straps were too long, and I would’ve needed much higher heels (typically I wear 4” heels to formal events). UNDERGARMENTS Bra - depending how it fits you, possibly unnecessary, but this would accommodate almost any strapless bra. It could potentially even work with a regular bra if you are a whiz with fashion tape and order a size with thicker straps (I think that starts at 12?). Underwear - when I tried on I didn’t have any issues with VPL. Shapewear - no slit and it isn’t super tight so no issues with this.

Hi Barbie!
This is a great dress to wear to a summer wedding. The fabric is stretchy and was comfortable outside on a hot, humid day. The color is a gorgeous Barbie pink color - as other renters mentioned, it is brighter in person than on the model picture. Very of the moment in August 2023 and I loved it. As for fit, I was able to wear this without a bra even though I am a 34G. The fabric was thick and structured enough to keep me in place, though dancing was definitely off the table. That said, it kind of looked like the thin spaghetti straps were holding on for dear life, which wasn’t the most flattering. My waist is 32” and hips are 45”. The fabric is stretchy and it worked, but it’s definitely a different look than you see on the model. Not unflattering - just very much highlighted my curves. The slip under the dress does not have stretch and did ride up a bit. In some light you could faintly see the line, but not too terribly. Overall, I liked but didn’t love this. It was fun to wear but with so many options available, I wouldn’t be tempted to rent again. UNDERGARMENTS Bra - I didn’t wear one but this would accommodate most strapless bras. Underwear - make sure you wear seamless underwear or a thong, because while the fabric is thick, there was a bit of VPL. Shapewear - I wore mid-thigh Spanx shorts. You couldn’t see the waistband through the fabric and they didn’t show at the slit.
