I rented this for a formal holiday party and it was an excellent choice, but this dress runs small so I recommend ordering your normal size with a size larger as the back-up. I normally wear a size 2, so I rented a 2R with 4R as the back-up. I only received the 4R because the 2R was unavailable in time for shipping (remember to send back your dresses on time)! It worked out in my favor because the 4R fit perfectly! The top is a lined jersey material with stretch which works for larger bust (I am a 32DD), but the banding around the waist had no stretch and was quite snug. I was able to wear a racer-back bra, which was barely noticeable and I would not have worn this dress without a bra. I loved the simplicity of the top with the intricacy of the bottom and detailing of the back. However, I have long hair, so the back of the dress was covered, so I would recommend an updo with this dress in order to show off the back. Overall, it's an excellent option for a formal affair. Beautiful dress!

I typically wear either a 2 or 4 depending on the designer, and based on other reviews, I ordered the 2R, with the 4R as backup. The 2R fit perfectly so I didn't even take the 4R out of the bag. I weigh 120 lbs, am 5'6" and even though my profile says I am a 32D, my bust is actually 32DD. This dress fit well, but it has NO stretch to it and it was snug across the chest. Quality was average and it was a great option for this event.

I am currently 122 lbs and usually wear a size 2/4 or size S. After reading others' reviews, I ordered the S (and XS as backup), but the S runs true to size and fit well throughout, EXCEPT beneath the arms, where the fabric runs too low, and too much of my bra was showing the sides. My bust is 32DD, so I am not small-chested - this was definitely an issue with the arm openings being too large and not an issue with the dress being more appropriate for a larger chest. I returned the dresses the next day and will be wearing something from my own collection, which is disappointing, but I definitely could not wear this dress.

I ordered this dress in a size 2 and 4 (I normally wear a 2), and neither one worked! The 2 was too snug around the ribs with ZERO stretch in the fabric, and the 4 was too large, with too much of my bra showing in the back. Fortunately I had a back up dress in my closet that I wound up wearing for our event, but I was really disappointed that this does didn't work. Not one person reported that the fabric in this dress had no give, OR that I would not be able to wear a regular bra (the back strap shows because the dress has an opening in the back between the top of the zipper, and the button closure at the neck). So disappointed!!!! It looks so pretty in the picture!!

I rented this dress for a formal holiday party. I usually wear a size 2, and the size 2R was a perfect fit. I am 5'6" and wore a 2-3" heel and the length was just right. There is a tiny amount of give in the fabric, but it's not "stretchy," so if you are in between sizes, you should go up. I wore a strapless bra, with one strap on over the covered shoulder. Other reviewers said their sequins looked "tired" or "worn" but the dress I received was in great condition (minus a couple of loose threads that went completely unnoticed because of the pattern on the dress). Definitely a great rental option!!

I ordered this dress in a 2L and 4L based on other reviews that suggested ordering the longer length if you are my height (5'6") and plan to wear heels. Well, the size 2 fit perfectly (although I could have worn the 4 because it has nice stretch to it), but the length was WAY too long. I suspect even if I had ordered the regular length, it would have been way too long. So I opted to wear another dress I had rented in this order. Thank goodness I had the other dress!

This dress definitely runs on the small size with no give. I am 5'6" and while my profile says I am 130 and a size 6, I lost weight. So currently, I weigh 115 lbs with some curve - 32DD top. The band around the rib cage was so tight I could barely breathe. I normally wear either a 0 or a 2, maybe a 4 if the dress is cut small. I ordered a 2 and a 4 because other reviews said this dress runs small, but this dress runs SERIOUSLY small! It's so disappointing too because I was really looking forward to wearing this dress and now I have no option for tomorrow night's party!

Ordered this dress for a holiday party and I am very happy with my selection! I am 5'7" and about 130 lbs with a size 32DD bust. I ordered the 6R and the 8R based on fit reviews. I normally wear a solid 6, sometimes a 4, but the 6R in this dress was too small - too tight in the waist and hips, so I wound up wearing the 8R, which means this dress definitely runs small. If you are unsure, definitely go up one size for your extra size. As for the quality, the dress itself is pretty and I received several compliments throughout the night. There was a slight odor to the dress, but nothing my perfume didn't cover up nicely. There was also a tiny tear in the seam of the skirt, but just the overlay and not the lining, so it wasn't anything that was noticeable or made the dress unwearable (just not sure how to report it as I'm hoping I don't get blamed for it)! Also, the lining peaked out a bit from the bottom of the skirt in the back but again, it wasn't anything that made it unwearable. The skirt length was slightly shorter than I would have preferred, but was afraid if I had ordered the longer length, it would have been too long. In the end, I wore heels that were about 3", so I probably would have been okay with the longer length. Overall, it's a very flattering dress, super comfortable and a little sexy with the small cut out in the lower back. Perfect for an event that is formal or semi-formal.
