good everyday coat for fall (not winter)
The design and colors make it easy to wear with more colorful tops and layers. Downsides: it has a boxier shape so the waist isn't the most flattering (but it leaves room for layering), and it's thin so not the best for very cold winter.

Warm for winter, deep green velvet
I loved how warm and stylish this skirt is! I wore it several times around the winter holidays. The waist (at button) was a little bit tight with tops tucked in, so perhaps size up.
