I am 5'3" and 180 lbs. I rented the 50R. This dress is super stretchy and I could have worn it, but it just didn't look very good on me. The material is pretty thick so if you're concerned about the "sleek" fit of the dress it will hide a good bit of problems. It's also a fairly short dress. The length in total was pretty good for me, but I needed to be longer in the torso for the waistline to fit right so that it didn't accent my spare tire. So if you are taller do expect your shoes to show.

I am 5'3" and 180 lbs. I rented a short Badgley Mischka dress last summer, the Fifth Avenue Showstopper, which was a short dress in a 14W. This was also a 14W. The shorter dress had a gather in the front so it definitely hid problem areas better than this dress, but that dress didn't feel snug on me the way this one did. It just didn't seem like the sizes were consistent. I would recommend sizing up for this one, although if you are short in the torso it might not fit well anyway. It is beautiful, however.

I really liked this dress. It has some nice stretch and would have been very comfy. Do note the side panels have some hose like mesh so it isn't completely bare, but the mesh is a light beige tone which wouldn't work for people with darker skin. I'm 5'3" and 180 lbs. The size was not so much the issue, I rented a 14, but it was too long in the body for me so it hit my stomach around my spare tire in the tighter part of the dress. If I had been able to take it up at the shoulders by an inch or so it would have looked fine. So if your short in the body and a little tubby, this may not be your best option.

This shirt was cute enough, but it was very short in the front. I'm 5'3" and if I lifted my arms you could see my belly by about 2 inches. So definitely not work appropriate for me.

This shirt came untied. So that was the first problem. When I put it on it just didn't look right. Also it is a very long sweater. I'm 5'3" and it looked more like a dress. The fit was off too. It was tight in the arms but big everywhere else. Maybe if it had come tied it would have looked better but I certainly was not able to recreate the look on the model.

I am normally a 14 but since most reviews said this ran large I figured I'd try the 12 as the 14 was unavailable. I'm not even sure the 14 would have fit me. I'm 5'3" 180 lbs. The 12 didn't wrap all the way around me and the chest was completely open. Pretty dress, but no stretch to it at all.

I'm 5'3" and just short everywhere but more so on top. The dress just isn't made for short ladies. At least not plump ones. I was able to zip it up find. The fabric has some stretch, I probably could have even gotten the 14 zipped. However it all came together to look like one black dress on me, lol. Nice dress and all but not right for me.
