I absolutely love a dress that requires NO special undergarments. This was one of them. This dress was amazingly comfortable and easy to sit, dance, walk in. I felt like a million bucks and got compliments all night long. I wore the "straps" or "sleeves" off the shoulder (see photos) and really liked that look. They have rubber grips so they stayed in place all night long. This dress is amazing for an hourglass figure. Sexy, yet appropriate. I highly recommend it! The fabric has stretch, so there's flexibility in sizing. I highly recommend adding the "backup" dress as this is my second rental from RTR and both times I ended up wearing my "backup" - not because anything was wrong with my first choice dresses, I just ended up liking them better than my "first choice" once I tried them all on. (RTR offers one design in 2 sizes, then you can add a second design for something like $35 - DO IT!) The entire rental and return process from RTR is a DREAM. I had a wonderful experience and will use them for future formal events. Thank you, RTR!

This dress was TOTALLY inappropriate for me. I don't know how ANYONE wears this in public and doesn't feel like a tramp! I'm not that modest, but it is SO LOW CUT that it doesn't even look good. If you get the size that fits your body, it pulls the halter part so far apart that your breastbone shows all the way down. If you size up to prevent that, you lose the accentuated waist. I guess if you're a straight figure it would be good, but if you want to show off your waist, then to get your actual size renders the front part too wide to be appropriate. I hope I'm explaining that right. I have a small waist so I wanted to wear the 4, which fit, but I had this wide gap down the front center showing my breastbone and between my boobs. It wasn't that it showed a lot of boobage - just the breastbone part wasn't attractive. The entire RTR experience was a positive one. It was my first and I will use them again and again. I'm so glad I added the $35 backup dress because online this blue one was my first choice (I got it in 2 sizes). I ended up wearing my add on - a lovely Nicole Miller - that was amazing. First, there are NO cons to this dress - unless you're 5'7" or taller and need the size 2 - I think it would be too short. I'm 5'4" at 136lbs and the 2R fit like a glove. I wore no bra and no special undergarments were required. This dress is as comfortable as a nightgown. It was easy to dance in and there was not ONE negative aspect of this dress the entire evening. Unless lots of attention is negative for you! This dress is perfect for someone with an hourglass figure. It accentuates your curves like you wouldn't believe. Sparkly and glamorous and looks WAY better on than the RTR images show. Straps stayed in place with no tape needed. It's stretchy so there's forgiveness in sizing. This was actually my "backup dress" - I'd rented another dress in 2 sizes and ended up loving this one way more so I wore it. The rental process was a DREAM. It arrived on time and shipping back was super easy. This was my first RTR experience and I was NERVOUS. I don't think I'll ever buy a formal again.
