This is a lovely dress but very unflattering. It seemed very well made with beautiful, heavy fabric, but the fit just did nothing for me, even though I had ordered the right size for my body. I think it might work better on someone with a smaller chest, as the top of the dress has many layers of fabric that really added bulk on me. I did not wear it to my event.

This is a gorgeous dress - the color is lovely and a nice change from black without being too in your face. The fit was true to size and the fabric are very comfortable, but as other reviewers have noted, it's super long. I'm 5'9" and was wearing 3.5" heels, so I ordered the long, and it draped all over the floor. Also, I was surprised that the fit notes say you can wear a normal bra with this, because you definitely can't. The V in the back is way too low for that. Anyway, none of that mattered because the zipper was broken on the dress I received, so I couldn't wear it anyway.

I thoroughly enjoyed wearing this dress but wish I had ordered it a size smaller (I wore the smaller of the 2 sizes I ordered). I was most surprised by how long it was...I'm 5'8" and intended to wear 3.5" heels, so I ordered the longer length after reading all the other reviews. It trailed on the floor, so I had to make an emergency run to CVS for some hem tape to make it work. That said, I still think it's an amazing dress for a black tie occasion and would highly recommend it.
