Easy to wear
Fit was true to size. Light and comfortable. Unique cuffs. A little issues with static but not a big deal.

Loved this so much I bought it!! I'm only 5'4" so I cuff the pant legs so that it hits above the ankle. But otherwise it fits like a glove. Mine pattern is more green than pink, which I liked better than the one pictures in the photo. The material is a thicker denim, so it's great for sunny days in the low 70s!

Cute, comfortable, and flattering!!
I LOVED wearing this!! I've gained weight recently (usually a 4 but prob closer to a 6 now) so i needed to rent something for my partner's garden party work event. This dress was easy to wear and flattering. The forgiving fit hid what needed hiding (my lower tummy, thighs, and butt) while cinching in at the waist. It didn't look wrinkled even after an 1.5 hr car ride. It's lightweight so I felt comfortable outdoors in the hot/humid summer air and even has pockets. I got complements all night!

Cute dress - just not cute on me
This dress was cute, but it didn't fit me well at all. I have broad shoulders (but small breasts) and wide hips, and this was definitely too tight around my shoulders. And since waist is super loose, it just made me look chubby. But I'm 5'3.5" and the length was great!

Cute summer statement
Definitely a statement dress. Surprisingly tight at the top (under armpits and above bust), especially since things are usually tighter on the hips/thighs for me.

Super cute!
Wore this for an art event with a cropped top and leather jacket—it was perfect. The XS was a little snug, but the S wasn't available. The M was too big. It was a little weird in the back where the zipper is bc the lining shows a little and could give the illusion that your bare backside is peeking out.

Summer cocktail perfect!
Easy fit if you are narrow in the waist. Light and super comfortable. The color of the top could get weird depending on your skin color... I wish I were a little more tan bc I looked a little topless in some photos!

Statuesque + sexy... the perfect black tie gown.
This dress made me feel AMAZING--it was the perfect way to start my Rent The Runway experience. I tried it on in the NYC showroom, and the 40R fit me perfectly. I wore it with 3" heels and the bottom barely grazed the floor. I wore it to my boyfriend's law firm's black tie gala at Lincoln Center, and got compliments from everyone. I am usually a little shy about showing off my hips (I usually go for strapless dresses that hug the waist then flare out on bottom), but since it was a special occasion, I decided to just go for it. It is made from a heavier fabric so it doesn't show bumps, but I ended up wearing Spanx just for a little 'lift' in the butt. The waist was slightly too long for me (would have prob been perfect for someone 5'6"), but I was still very happy with the fit. The straps over the arms made it a little awkward to reach upward (like to fix my hair), but it's a small price to pay for feeling so sexy. The color is slightly darker/richer than in the photos with the model, but the purplish-blue hue is accurate. My only caution is for women who live alone: I wasn't able to close the little hooks on top by myself, so my boyfriend had to come over early to help me. I'm reasonably flexible (I can put sunscreen on the middle of my back), but there are 4-5 little hooks on the strap at the top of my back that I couldn't close on my own.

I'm not sure how to comment on fit... I tried on a 40R in the NYC showroom and it fit perfectly, but when the dress arrived at my apartment, it was snug--like probably a size smaller snug. That only happened a few days apart (and my slinky back up dress fit the same as in the showroom), so I know it wasn't weight gain. I couldn't find the size on the tag, so I don't know if they sent me a 38R by mistake, or if they actually gave me a 42R to try on in the showroom. Other than that, it is a beautiful gown and very modern. The color is a little more 'mustard' than I expected--I would have personally preferred a brighter yellow (like in the photo). Also, although the skirt portion not fitted, it is not lined and shows every little bump, so I probably would have worn Spanx for smoothing purposes.
