Too long for short ladies
This dress is gorgeous and so flattering, but if you’re short it probably won’t work for you. 55” is generally what I can wear with very tall heels, but with this dress it’s so tapered at the bottom that it doesn’t look right with heels. It’s a shame because it’s sooo pretty and flattering. I wish RTR would do petite alterations for maxis!!

Loved the vibrant color and gorgeous ruffle detail at the hem. It's form fitting if you have hips/curves, so I wore spanx. Got tons of compliments all day!

Bottom is snug, top is loose!
As other reviewers mentioned, this dress is snug or true to size on bottom, but very loose on top. If I had sized down for the top, the bottom would have been too tight. Overall, it didn't stop me from enjoying the dress. I just ended up pulling it up more often than I liked. Still got lots of compliments!

Great sized clutch
This was the perfect addition to a sparkly silver dress. It's a little larger than most clutches, which is convenient. But overall I had space for an iPhone X, compact, lipstick, and credit card. A little hard to open, but not a big deal at all.

Touch of sparkle!
This was a great accessory for a sparkly silver dress. It's very well made and beautiful. I have very small wrists and had no issue, but I can definitely see how this might be hard to wear for someone with larger wrists. Something to keep in mind!

Feminine and beautiful!
Got compliments all day on this dress! The neckline is so flattering, and the color and full skirt are perfect for spring. I normally size up in black halo dresses, but because of the full skirt, I was able to wear my usual size 0. So if black halo is normally too tight for you in the hips and butt, this dress might be a perfect option. Absolutely loved it!

Top of dress too large
I ordered a size up in this dress as I normally do with Black Halo. The dress fit great through the body, but the shoulders and top were very large. I'm a 34C, so filling out the chest wasn't a problem, but the shoulders gaped awkwardly and were clearly too big. But, if I sized down the dress would probably be too tight over my hips and stomach. Too bad, because the color is beautiful and the shoulder detail is really pretty.

Great work dress
This is a nice, flattering colorblock dress. It's pretty tight, especially since a 0 fits me in all other slate and willow. I could have sized up in this one. It also might me short on taller ladies. But overall a winner

High quality, but LONG
This is a beautifully made, quality dress. The material is great and the neckline is very unique and flattering. But I am 4'11 and this practically came down to my ankles. There's no way I could have worn this. So if you are short, keep this in mind! I wish RTR would consider hemming some of these midi-length dresses!

(Please excuse the filthy mirror) This dress is flattering and professional. Got tons of compliments all day! It's a true wrap dress, so be mindful if it's a windy day. The fabric at the bottom seemed to puff out a little, for lack of a better term. So I did keep having to pull and adjust it. But it was worth it!

Amazing color and fit!
Please excuse the dirty mirror, but this dress is fantastic. The color is a vibrant cerulean blue that is so amazing. The fabric is high quality, and the flap detail hides any tummy imperfections you might be worried about. It also lays really flat and nice, so doesn't make you look bulky. Love it!

Adorable, but short!
This is a great dress. Love the thick, soft, stretchy material that's very comfortable and forgiving. It was fitted great in the waist and very flattering. My only warning would be that it's very short. I'm 4'11 for reference, and this was about as short as I could get away with. (Sorry for the dirty mirror!)

Casual, but sexy!
Loved the gorgeous color of this top. Material was light and breezy, but not too thin. The top is low cut enough to show some sexy cleavage, but I didn't have any issues with it being too revealing. The cropped style looked great with some high waisted jeans. My boyfriend loved this outfit!

Easy, breezy!
Loved this dress! The color pops, and it is so comfortable and flattering. It's a nice change to not have to wear shapewear under a dress! Others might say it runs large, but I think the looser fit is the key to this style. Absolutely loved it!!

Showstopper!!
Loved everything about this top!! First thing I noticed was the very high-quality material. It is thick and substantial, and feels great. This shirt was sexy without being too low-cut, and the color is such an amazing pop. The asymmetrical hemline really stands out in a crowd. Ended up wearing this two nights in a row because I loved it that much!

Beautiful, but a little long for short girls
I received this dress in great condition with the tags still on. The color and material are beautiful. The only reason I didn't wear it is because the length is a little long on my 4'11 frame. Would probably rent this for a more formal affair, but not for work as I had planned. Otherwise, a really nice dress!

This is a gorgeous, well made dress. But you definitely need to size up if you have any curves at all. I'm a 0 in basically every dress on this site, and the 2 in this dress was so skin tight. I will try a 4 next time!

This dress is definitely form fitting, seamless or no underwear is a must. The top was a little hard to get into for me, but not impossible. If you're short, you'll probably need to fold up the sleeves, but it worked for me!

Fashionable sweater dress
A sweater dress can be plain, but this style adds some flair with both the midriff cutout, as well as the flaps. The midriff is not visible unless you want it to be. This is a great winter dress!

Great dress for petite ladies!
Wore this for my bday celebration. The length is great for short girls, but may be too short for taller girls. The top isn't too revealing because it has a snap. One half of the snap was missing on the dress I received, but I used a safety pin and could easily hide that under the ruffle. The color is beautiful, and this has adjustable straps!

Rent this immediately - especially if you're short!
Absolutely LOVED this rental. The compliments didn't stop coming from the second I put it on. And it looks 10x better in person. Small busted women - this may be loose for you in the chest. But the dress has boning to keep it up. It's also perfect for short women because it gives you that full-length formal look minus the alterations! Do yourself a favor and rent this one ASAP!

Very flattering!
Loved the cut and material of this dress! It takes away the common notion that white makes you look heavy, because I think I looked very slim in this! It's a little on the long side for very short girls (I'm 4'11) but not unreasonably so. My only complaint is that the hem was coming undone in the dress I got and I had to tape it, which you could kind of see.

Wore this dress to an Oscars party and it was perfect. I felt it ran a little loose in the top of the dress, so if you're very thin or smaller chested, that might be an issue. But overall a big winner!

So comfortable and flattering!
This dress is so soft and easy to wear, it almost felt like PJs! The cut outs are super flattering on the top, and the color is more vibrant eggplant IRL. I'll admit the length isn't the most ideal for shorter gals, but I still enjoyed wearing this and got tons of compliments!

Slightly small, but that's just Theory
Many brands these days are overly vanity sized. Theory isn't one. I generally wear a 0, this one was slightly snug. But that's just how Theory tends to fit me. I probably should have gotten a 2. Overall, really liked this except the fact it kept riding up a lot. But that might be because of my booty :)

I thought this dress would be perfect for work, but it was WAY too tight all around. I ordered my normal size 0, and while I could zip it up, it was skin tight in all the wrong places. I looked like a sausage! Lol. I would almost suggest going up TWO sizes in this dress to make it work. Unless you truly have zero body fat and zero curves.

I liked the idea of this top, but the style just seemed too flimsy for me. I ordered the smallest size, but the straps just wouldn't stay up at all. And the fit just seemed too billowy. Would probably work great from someone without such a petite frame.

Great color and seams!
Really liked the subtle blue/grey color of this dress. Liked the fit a lot in the bottom, but I found the top sleeve area fit strangely. You could definitely see my bra on the sides if I lifted my arms. The sleeves also sat off the shoulder a little bit, kind of like a pilot costume or something. That was my only complaint.

Got tons of compliments on this one. The material is pretty structured so I felt like it gave a great shape, especially in the midsection. Got compliments all day long! My only small annoyance was that it felt like the top ran larger than the bottom. I feel especially small chested women would find the top somewhat gappy. But overall a great rental!
