This is a beautiful dress--really sexy without being over the top. And I could even wear a regular bra with it! It is fairly low-cut and I probably wouldn't have worn it to a more religious or conservative wedding. The color is a beautiful true red. The 12 fit me perfectly and I usually am a 14-16. My only complaint is that the skirt poofed out a little more than I would have liked--it was quite voluminous and I think I would have liked it to lay a little flatter. But that's a minor quibble.

This dress was beautiful, but unfortunately it's not great for busty women or those with wide backs/shoulders. I got a 12 and a 14, the 12 was too small and the 14 was fine around my waist, but I couldn't zip it up all way. It was also quite tight around the arms. Too bad because it really was beautiful. Would probably work great for someone with a smaller frame.

Rented this for a family member's black tie-optional wedding. It was beautiful! The shiny-ness was not overwhelming and the colors really made it stand out when most people were wearing black. Wore this with nude shoes and minimal jewelry so as not to go over the top. I thought the ruffles on the shoulders would be too stiff or big but they were fairly subdued. Ordered the 12 and the 14 (I normally hover somewhere in the middle) and the 12 fit great.
