This dress was perfect for a late fall wedding in New Orleans - the length was unexpected, but the fit was great! Paired with some brown peep-toe stilettos and it survived a full night of dancing and traipsing around after hours! The sequins were perfect and the color was really a stand-out - almost copper in some lights and brown gold in others! Had lots of compliments throughout the entire night!

Dress is surprisingly comfortable despite the double layer and lace detail on the shoulders. I found that the 36 was perfectly fit, though I have a broader rib cage, so it was slightly snug at the waist. The illusion details on the shoulders and bottom were beautiful and paired with a nude heel, this dress was stunning and perfectly appropriate for a wedding!

Pros: The fit is TTS, and the colors are bright and vivid which is really fantastic on a bright day and in pictures. The color blocking and neck are very flattering and comfortable! The material is a very thick cotton -- for sweaty girls (like me) you may want to avoid this one for hotter months. Cons: Tall girls be warned; this is a short dress and a half inch shy of being a tunic (same length on the M)! Curvy ladies might have some issues with the fit as the material has no stretch and despite the tailoring through the waist, there was not much flare on the bottom. The dress should be considered a true shift -- while the M was better for me on the bottom, the top was way too big, so just wore the S and was careful sitting down!

This dress is a show-stopper with the color and cut-out back. That said, it is super SUPER small through the frame. I usually take a 4L, and at a size 6L, this dress was never going to zip up over my broader ribs. If you have a very narrow frame, you might be fine with a size up, but for any athletic body-types, I would say size up by 2.

The dress was perfect for a traditional Punjabi wedding - I don't have a sari on hand (yet) so this dress is a great compromise as it keeps legs, shoulders and chest covered. I got many compliments throughout the night despite it being a bit dark compared to the brighter and more traditional saris! Pros: Great fit and true to size. I am taller, so the long was perfect length. Any shorter than 5'8" and I would go with the regular. The color is absolutely stunning and the dress is very well-made. Felt like I was wearing a tailor-fit dress all night. Cons: The lace is a bit itchy and I have to knock a star as the embroidery details are in need of some serious repair! It was a bit heavy, so I would avoid for events that are primarily outside.

This dress was amazing - I received countless compliments throughout the night and couldn't believe how comfortable I felt!! For starters, an outdoor ceremony on a humid 90+ degree day is tough no matter what you are wearing! This dress stood up to the challenge and I was comfortable the entire ceremony and reception. The dress was great for dancing, too! The dress fit like a glove up top and the back is high enough that I was able to wear a strapless bra to give some extra coverage and the adjustable straps helped me feel secure. The length was just a bit short for my frame, and I could have used an extra inch on the skirt. But I truly did not mind as it kept the dress out of the grass when outside and clear of being stepped on while on the dance floor. I could have used at least an extra inch. Overall, I was extremely happy wit this dress and glad to be so well-dressed for our friends' wedding!

I typically wear a 4 or a 6, but true to many of the other reviews, the top is very big. The 4 fit a bit better up top, but with a stain on the front of the dress I had to make the 6 work. The belt made it easy to adjust the top so that it was not overwhelming. I loved the length and double lining - both made the dress truly comfortable and was perfectly suited for a hot and busy day. That said, the dress does wrinkle easily - after a long car ride the front was a giant wrinkle! All said and done, beautiful color, great length, cut and feel, but steer clear if you are wearing for an event where a lot of sitting is involved - it would have been perfect for dancing!
