This dress really was beautiful. If you have never worn a Herve dress, be prepared - they grip you! However, they mold to your body once you are in them and are very comfortable. The color is more of a tangerine color and it is relatively low cut, so beware if you want to avoid that. I wore it with nude pumps and a turquoise necklace and recieved a lot of compliments. I would not wear it with black, as on the model, however, as it was too "Halloween" looking. For reference, I wear a 4 or 27 in pants size, and am 5'6'' with a 35" bust, 27" waist, and 37" (?) hips and this dress was tight but not binding and came s couple inches above the knee so not as short as some Herve dresses. I highly recommend just be sure to inspect for any spots as it is a light color and lots of other women love these dreses too so they tend to be heavily rented.

I am 5'6'' and 125lbs. I normally where a small on top (34C) and a 4-6 on bottom. I ordered a S and M but they were out of M so only a small came. It was too tight so I wore another dress. As another reviewer stated, it fits tighter than other HL dresses I have worn, perhaps because the dress seemed brand new and they tend to stretch out a bit over time. Also, the cross over in the front is cut really high (too high in my opinion). Especially when I sat I could feel it on/above my collar bone which was irritating. The color is a little lighter and less purple than the photo here. Overall it was a beautiful dress but I liked other HL dresses better.

I wore this dress to a country club wedding. In true-to-form Herve fashion, the dress is tight but loosens/conforms as you wear it so it is comfortable. I am 5'6'', 127lbs and have approx. 35" bust, 27" waist, 36" hips so I fell right on the edge of the small and medium and really could have gone either way. I wore the medium because it initially felt comfortable but ultimately felt I should have worn the small because by the end of the night it was too loose, especially on top. The color is absolutely gorgeous (it's a little darker in person than shown but the venue was dark so my pictures are fuzzy) and the cut of the front and open back is very flattering!
