I ordered this as an easy thing to throw on for my trip, and it fits nicely. I didn't wear it though. Not sure why, just didn't have a time where I felt like it. Very casual.

I didn't wear, bc I didn't find it special enough. I wanted to exchange for something else. The ruched banding at the top is very short, so it sits above the bust. That's fine but otherwise it just hangs down like a babydoll type dress. On my 5'4" body it wasn't too short, and hit mid calf. I liked that.

I love these pants. I usually wear a 6 in pants, but got these in an 8 since Ive learned that these types of pants look great when very baggy with the cinched waist... however, I felt like I could do better in a 10, so I didn't wear these, sending back.

I already loved this dress, but the other reviews were all very glowing, which solidified it for me. I am wearing to my daughter's rehearsal dinner which is at an Italian restaurant, so it is accidentally perfect. In the pic it looks fine, but that's when I am standing upright. I am pretty animated and moving too much, so that means that the huge gap at the bust will be showing my chest underneath. I'd much rather it rest snugly against my chest. In this shipment, this dress was my favorite item, so I am a pretty bummed about the fit because I REALLY want to wear it. There are no more sizes available right now, but hopefully that changes soon. I get many 'back in stock' notifications throughout the day, so each time one pops up I run to check if it's this one. Fingers crossed! The dress itself is SO very soft and smooth, and it is immediately obvious from the feel of the fabric that it is high quality. The stitching at the hems is next level and adds subtle dimension to it. I am so completely in love with this dress for the stitching alone. It provides sturdiness and is what keeps it laying so nicely on the body; firm where it needs to be because otherwise those areas of the dress would be flimsy. The zipper runs all the way to the bottom, which makes it unique and fun. All around a seriously fun & flattering dress. I might wear this 6 even if I can't get a smaller size in time for the dinner... I have to think about this. I need the 4. Sending vibes :)

Beautiful dress! I would love a bedspread or curtains in this fabric. It is very shimmery and nicely made. It looks heavy, but it was lighter than I expected. That's a plus for summer. If you are looking to get this dress I'd say the most important factor is your bust size. all the rest will fall nicely. The length was perfect. At 5' 4" and some heels on, it wasn't dragging at all. I had an inch or so between the dress and floor. Unfortunately the bust in the medium was too baggy, even with a strapless bra on. It zipped up quite easily too, which to me, meant it was too large. In the pic it doesn't look obviously loose, but that is due to the dimensional fabric layers. I could grab a fistful of fabric around the waist. There's no stretch obviously, so it has to fit your top snugly, otherwise the straps fall and it just does not look very nice all around. I would have loved it if it was much more fitted. A small would have been perfect, but it was not my top choice of dress anyway. I was trying to stay away from black because the wedding is day into night, so it's not heartbreaking for me... Next...

I ordered the size 4 since that was all that was available, but we couldn't get it zipped. However, I did have a strapless bra on, so I feel like there's a good chance it might've zipped all the way up if I took the bra off. Since I would want to wear a bra at the event, I didn't want to risk ripping the zipper, so I just called it a loss. It was one of my options for my daughter's wedding, but this one was a last minute add in, so since it wasn't one of my first choices I wasn't too bothered... This would def make a beautiful dress as a wedding guest, but for a Mother of the Bride dress I don't think it was 'extra' enough (I wanted extra). The purple is almost pink, and the silvery shimmer is absolutely beautiful. The dress is not heavy overall, even though the material looks thick. This is because the black part is actually sheer, which was a surprise. There is a second layer underneath, so that's why this isn't obvious in the pics. For anyone who wants something shimmery that will translate to photos, this one oddly does not. I tried taking a pic of the dress to show my daughter, but it looked very drab. I took it outside into the bright sunlight where the dress was very sparkly... but in the pics, nothing. If the dress had fit well, and I loved it, this would have bothered me enough to not wear it.
