I was really rooting for this dress. Thank God I got a back up. The split wasn't as bad as the other reviews claim. It was sexy nonetheless but I couldn't wear this in a 12R. I hate when your entire shoe shows standing still. Also, my DD bust didn't look so great in this dress. Sorry I didn't take a photo, I was rushing. So if you have similar measurements as I do, get the 12L.

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding and we were given simple instructions: floor length black gown of any style/fabric etc. I chose this gown and it was the talk of the wedding next to the bride and my hair :). It fit true to size and I could've worn the 12R or the 12L comfortably. I just love trains so I wore the 12L with pointed toe flats.

This dress is a show stopper. All night people asked me about it and complimented me. It was cold outside and it really kept me warm whenever I stepped out onto the balcony of the party. The problem was that it fits in all the wrong places. I wore spanx and it was absolutely necessary to smooth out my midsection and back. I still felt a little uncomfortable. My breast were too big (DD) for that keyhole. It was a very formal event with my company so I avoided being too sexy and pinned the front. I still felt amazing and I would consider renting it again but in a bigger size and still belt it like I did. Belting is necessary because its a little boxy up top.
