This dress has been in my “hearts” for years and I finally pulled the trigger this past weekend and I’m so glad I did! I’m recently postpartum and this dress made me feel better about my body than I’ve felt in over a year. It was forgiving in all the right places (stomach, chest) but also sexy too since it’s a fitted waist and low neck. I was able to wear a normal bra and even with breastfeeding boobs it didn’t feel overly revealing. I felt confident but also covered. No shapewear needed as it’s that forgiving. Also, pockets! Should be reason enough to rent even if you aren’t postpartum. So if you’re in a season where your body doesn’t feel like yours, this dress can give you a small reminder that you’ve still got it, girl! Also just a beautiful dress overall. My only complaint is that the lace pattern is backed with a white fabric so where it folds it looks like you’ve got lint on your skirt since it contrasts so much against the black lace.

This dress was perfection for a fall wedding. The ceremony was outside and the sleeves and length kept me warm but it was light enough to not overheat indoors and it was perfect for the dance floor! I got tons of compliments and felt sexy but classy at the same time. My two biggest issues were that I’m breastfeeding and didn’t really think about how hard it would be to access (nothing wrong with the dress but just a warning for any breastfeeding moms!) and the zipper in the Large size did not lay flat. I think it was something I could’ve ironed out but I ran out of time. But it gave me a bit of a hunchback look as it just popped out in some places. I just wore my hair down which helped. Overall it fit true to size. I ordered an L and an XL but the L fit fine even postpartum.

I wore this dress to a movie premiere and it was the perfect dress for the occasion. The gold velvet polka dots gave it a pop of glam, and the mermaid fit and low cut neckline made me feel subtly sexy. It was a very comfortable dress but fit a little smaller than expected. I wore the 12 which is my normal size but it was slightly tighter than ideal, but I wore it all night without issues. There weren’t many reviews when I rented this dress so it was a gamble and it totally paid off! I would definitely recommend this dress.

I was sent this dress as a replacement when my original order didn’t fit and I was pleasantly surprised! It was perfect for a hot, humid outdoor wedding and SO much fun to dance in all night. I didn’t wear a bra (36D) as the straps and bodice provided enough support which made it that much better. I also loved the length which hit me right around the upper ankle (5’7”) so I got to show off my shoes :) The only reason it’s not getting 5 stars is the straps are uncomfortable after wearing all night and dig in a bit to the shoulders. There is also zero give in the torso area so after eating the dress was a little uncomfortable. But, I felt great in it and it was the perfect dress for the winery setting. Would 100% rent again!

This dress was perfect for a black tie wedding in NYC. It was appropriately formal but the detailing on the skirt helped it stand out from the many other black gowns. The skirt was heavy so I wasn’t cold when the sun went down but the top kept me cool and comfortable during the sunny outdoor ceremony. We were running late for the event so I was relieved to see how low maintenance this dress was when I put it on. I got ready in under 30 mins, put the dress on with a low heel (the length could be too short for anyone taller that wants a heel, I’m 5’7” and wore a 1” heel), and walked out the door. No fashion tape, safety pins, or even bra, needed. For that alone I’d give it 5 stars but I’m a big wedding dancer and this dress was NOT great for an indoor dance floor. Hot would be an understatement.Bottom line: if you’ve got a fall/winter, or outdoor, black tie event and want a low maintenance dress, this is the one for you!

This was a great rental for a formal wedding in late summer. I felt sexy yet classy and got compliments all night. I was able to wear without a bra but would recommend a strapless for some lift since the straps of the dress can’t be adjusted and really didn’t do anything for me. I didn’t wear shapewear because the dress has some structure to it and the material was thick enough to smooth things out. However, it’s form-fitting so you could go either way. My only complaint is the length of the dress. It’s a midi but it hit more around high ankle on me which just looked a little awkward. Not a major issues and I overall recommend!

As a repeat renter, this dress was not my favorite but overall I liked it. It was dressier than expected as I’d planned to wear espadrilles with it but ended up opting for a white heeled sandal that matched the elegance of it better. The style is conservative but it’s form fitting so I still felt sexy even with the full coverage. I’d recommend spanx as it’s form fitting all the way to the skirt but it would’ve felt too matronly if it had fit any looser, IMO. Due to the tightness of the fit, I was able to wear no bra (there’s some cup support built in) and felt supported all night (I’m a 36D). My favorite part about the dress was the flowy skirt - it was SO fun to dance in and honestly made the rental for me. I did appreciated the flowy sleeves for the coverage and it felt like a perfect rental for an early spring wedding. Overall, I probably wouldn’t rent again but it did the trick!

RENT. THIS. DRESS. It was so flatting, sexy yet classy, and incredibly comfortable. I got so many compliments on this dress and felt like a total movie star while wearing it. I also love how fun it is and different from most dresses. It's definitely a rental that will get you noticed. The material is heavy and forgiving so I didn't wear shapewear and the adjustable straps made a bra optional (which I opted out of haha). Seriously, just rent this dress. You won't regret it!

I really loved this rental! I felt like a Bond girl in this dress and definitely turned heads throughout the night. The material was heavy and forgiving so even though I wore spanx, I felt I could've gone without. I also didn't wear a bra which, at 12 weeks pregnant with 36Ds, is a miracle. The ladies felt supported all night! The only negative was the weird stitching at the hips and the breasts which made the dress sit in a strange way in these areas. Overall, this dress is a knockout!

I really LOVED this rental! The colors are stunning in person but it also photographs beautifully. The dress felt high quality while still being comfortable and easy to move in. I dressed it down with some strappy sandals but it would be perfect for a more formal event as well. It was the ideal dress for an outdoor summer wedding! The only downside is that there's no give or structure to the dress so I opted for shapewear which made it a little more forgiving! I also didn't wear a bra with it because the top was tight enough, but you could definitely wear a bra with this dress. Overall, I'd highly recommend this dress for a sexy yet classy look!

I wore this for a black tie wedding in NYC and it was perfect! The color was dark enough to make it appropriate for an evening wedding but it also stood out from the crowd. I got a lot of compliments on both the dress and the fit. It's definitely perfect for a curvy figure with larger chest (34D). The lace on the top of the dress had a tendency to curl under my strapless bra and didn't always lay flat but that would be my only concern. Even returning it the day after the wedding in Times Square was easier than I thought it would be. Renting another Nicole Miller for a wedding in LA in June!
