I rented this dress for a baby shower. It was perfect for a semi-casual, chilly January Sunday in New Jersey, but could definitely be worn in spring or fall! This is on my purchase wish list for sure! I did wear a shaper and overall the Large ran true to size. If I wanted to forgo a shaper, I would definitely rent the next size up.
