Paired with a skirt for a gala, didn't end up wearing either
The shirt fit true to size, but it was shorter in the front than I would have liked. The shape in the back also made my hips look larger than they are. I rented this to wear with the Shoshana Jasmine skirt. It was a risk in the first place that unfortunately didn't work. The top would look great with skinny jeans, leather pants, maybe even a column skirt - something that doesn't add to the hips for a pseudo pear-shape/athletic person. The construction of the shirt, the panels on the front, is a little strange, but didn't really effect the overall look. With the right outfit, I might consider renting this again.

very forgiving and easy to dress up
The skirt was really full for me, which was fine, so I went with the medium (instead of large) to make sure my waist as accentuated as possible. It was extremely comfortable and very forgiving after a night of eating and drinking. It was a little short on me, but I was wearing dressy flats so it worked out fine. So easy to accessorize! Definitely accessorize, though, otherwise it can feel al little bland. Overall very happy.

Stunning color and unique shape. Felt very classy.
The color is just perfect, especially for fall. Even though the 10 fit me very well (not too tight, not too loose), because of the fabric I wore Spanx to make sure everything looked smooth. Was able to wear it with a regular bra, which was nice. If I had a little extra room anywhere, it was in the chest. It did wrinkle pretty quickly after sitting down for the ceremony and dinner, but was not very noticeable. It was a little longer on me than I anticipated. I'm 5'9" and it hit just barely above the knee, I expected a little shorter. Overall, really enjoyed the dress!

Length was great, even with heels. Did not wrinkle throughout the whole night! It was ever-so-slightly tight across the chest, but not nearly enough to warrant going up a size because it fit perfectly everywhere else. The color could potentially wash someone out, depending on skin tone. Looks great with a tan. Really unique, so I felt very special wearing it!

adored this dress! got lots of compliments. it hides any tummy flaws which was greatly appreciated, and the neckline is absurdly flattering on any bust. because my bust is on the smaller size i did have a little room up top, but that was easily fixed with a strapless bra. and there are pockets in the top tier which were very fun!

Loved this dress. Wore it to a wedding last weekend and the silhouette was perfect for my body type, hiding any misgivings. I did wear a bra with it to fill out the bust a little bit (Im about a 34B), but that worked fine for me. The dress has a real iridescence to it that I don't think comes through completely in the picture, but it is beautiful. Skirt was not too poofy. It was a little longer than I expected, especially since I'm tall. It came a few inches above the knee, but again I still loved it. Finally, I think I could have gone a size down. I ordered the 10 (I'm always a true 10), but I'm pretty sure the 8 would have been just as good. Hard to tell, but a 12 was way too big. Accessorized with gold/bone bangles and earrings and nude sling backs. So fun!

Beautiful dress! I love the fabric, although it feels like it could snag easily. Lots of extra room in the bust for me (34B), and all around I could have sized down (like many of the other reviews say; trust the reviews). I got a size up for my extra dress incase the original was too short for my height, but the length is just fine, and would probably have been equally fine in the next size down. The dress is still so flattering, and the back is just stunning! Love this rental.
