heavy hood is a choker
i like the overall style and idea of this piece but the hood is a heavy knit like the rest of the garment so it was constantly pulling the collar back against my neck uncomfortably.

Perfect party dress
Fit true to size and the draping is so flattering! There is a sheer layer under the shimmer so nude undergarments are a must. I added a a pair of light gray boyshorts under. Wore this for a night of holiday parties and received compliments all night long!

better than your average faux leather pant
These pants are SO comfortable. The interior is lined with a soft fabric so you they almost feel like sweats. The fit was perfect and the inseam was long enough for me

Pockets!
This dress was perfect for a busy day with a work event. Styled with black tights and a chelsea boot. The bust was a little snug so I would say one larger than a C-cup may feel a little smooshed and uni-boobed up there so I wore it with an unlined bra for a little extra room. Great fall/winter piece

Short inseam
Loved these pants and paired them with a boxy short sleeve button down. I wish there was another inch or two on the inseam so there would be a relaxed break at the ankle and another inch rise on the waist. Instead, they skimmed right at my ankle bone which is an awkward length to style. On the positive side, the fabric was incredible - it had a nice heft to it, not a flimsy summery silk at all.

Showed more skin than I expected
More skin than I was prepared for! I was so hopeful for this dress and inspired by other reviews but it was a total miss on me. The slit was a full on gaping crop top looking thing - not the cute notch seen on the model and reviews. I tried spinning it around for less skin but the darts were off. There was no making it work for the wedding I was attending but thankfully due to an inventory issue RTR hooked me up with some backups that were just right.

Pretty dress. Cool material
I liked this dress but it felt a bit too formal for the wedding I rented for. At the same time it looked slightly bohemian with the halter style. Loved the pleated fabric, it's heavy and there is a full circle of fabric when laid out. I would definitely rent for a different event.

10/10 Rent. This. Dress.
This dress is stunning. Special shoutout to RTR customer service on this one. I was heart set on a different dress, but there was an issue with the previous rental so I was able to pick from select backups. This dress was the happy result of that last minute pivot. I'm 5'8" and was able to wear high heels and the skirt hit the perfect length. The lines on the back took it over to top with understated elegance. I wore a sticky bra but pasties would have been fine as the lining has structure.

Almost perfect
I loved the style and the finish of this romper. It looks simple on the picture, but I felt great it in. Would have accessorized with a chunky gold chain and a lifted sneaker. My only star off is that because it is so structured and does not stretch it was just a hair on the shorter side where I could have been flashing some cheek. I'm tall and long in the torso so this is not uncommon with rompers, just didn't want that much flesh out for the day.

I liked a lot about this dress until it came to the sleeves. The circumference of the opening was comically small. Unbuttoning the little button loop gives another inch or so in the sleeve hole and it was still uncomfortably tight so unfortunately I could not wear this.

When you find what works
This is the second Hutch dress I've rented for a wedding and it was another happy experience. The other had a similar silhouette with a full skirt (and pockets!) and this updated design was perfect for a black tie wedding at the botanical gardens. If I had to give a critique, the crisscross straps on this dress were slightly uncomfortable, but tolerable.

Gorgeous dress, odd sizing
I wore the size 8L because the straps on the 6L were badly damaged. This plunging neckline and fit demanded more chest than I was blessed with so sadly it felt a little frumpy all evening. The skirt and pockets are real winners though.

Perfect jumpsuit, slightly short
Loved loved loved this jumpsuit. Wish I would have gotten it in a tall (if that was an option). Ended up wearing the 10 for slightly more length in the torso and leg. The 8 felt like if I raised the roof a little too high, the girls would have popped right out. I got so many compliments and had an awesome time dancing the night away in comfort. I thought the fabric would be too heavy but even on a 90° day I was never too weighed down by the material.

Pros: no bra needed. Can wear comfy undies. Literally the most comfortable combo. Cons: not really any. While not my favorite RTR, I did really like this dress. Every detail was in place and I felt like a classic girly girl in it. The lace, sweetheart neckline, bodice, open back and skirt were all very nice. I wish I could have worn the 6, but it was all but destroyed when it arrived (beware the size 6) and the 8 was just a little roomy and filled out around my waist more than I would have liked.

This dress is a head turner
I really liked this dress, but a few things kept me from loving it. With an athletic build the shoulders/arms are not quiet comfortable. On the flip side, broad shoulders and a broad chest make this dress work. Everything stayed in place with out tape- yay! The 8 was gaping all over the place and horribly short. I'm 5'8" and it was licking my ankles short. I tend to be a size 8 so I was surprised it was so baggy. I pretty much had to wear the 6L. The fabric is heavy and snug- kind of like a built in Spanx which is nice! The downside is it is hot. It was a random 70 degree weekend and I was sweating like crazy. Overall: great style, great quality, challenging fit.

Cute, but didn't end up wearing
I rented this for a fun/casual wedding. I thought the jumpsuit would fit the bill but the structure and fabric actually wears much more dressy and formal. Unfortunately it arrived a day late and too late to get a better alternative so I didn't wear it to the event. I'm between a size 6 and 8 for dresses and usually opt for 8 for comfort. The 8 fit very nicely... the 6 was a tragedy. The decrease in size was almost comical.

Built for curves
This dress was absolutely stunning, but I did not wear it this time. I will rent it in a size larger for a future event! The black mesh part around the rib cage has NO stretch and the black mesh at the shoulders is the same story. The blue skirted and bust part fit true to size, but if you have athletic shoulders/chest you'll want to size up.

Stylish and comfortable!
This dress is so well made! The top is structured and comfy and you don't need to wear a bra with it. The dress hangs beautifully and is easy to walk dance and eat an extra piece of cake in. I got the long and at 5'8" it was really long. I went out and bought the tallest pair of platform wedges I could find that put me at around 6'1" and it was still skimming the ground! I held it up on the dance floor for most the night, so I would say the regular is probably long enough.

Perfect garden wedding dress
I got the 6 and 8 and both felt really good on! I went with the 6 because I would have had to wear a padded bra to fill out the 8, it was big enough to look a little frumpy. The 6 kept everything secure and where it should be, and was just a little more fitted through the bodice. The fabric is heavy (but not hot) and has zero stretch. The straps are long and crept their way down on the dance floor all night, but overall an awesome experience with lots of compliments! Pockets get a big thumbs up from me! My friend at the wedding also had a stunning RTR dress (pictured)
