Super fun!
I bought this for $20 which made it feel ok to a few inches off the sleeves. The sleeves are waaaay too long. But I absolutely love black on black animal print. I’m going to wear this all the time! Size down 2 sizes is my advice.

Almost perfect!
I love this dress. It will be perfect for orchestral gigs and other formal settings for a musician. I think I could've sized down but I was worried that other reviews complained about the shoulders being too tight. On me, the shoulders are just right but there's just the smallest amount of extra fabric at the waist that I wish was perfectly form-fitting. The fabric itself is similar to leggings material, so I think the shoulders would've stretched out and the waist would've fit perfectly in a 40R instead of 42R. Perfect length for someone who's 5'2" with a very small heel on.
