This definitely runs true to size, maybe a bit on the larger size of true, but still true. I'm right between a 12 and a 14 and I sized up in order to accommodate my bust. One note - the dresses that I received are different than the one pictured. The one on the site has a V back with more draping hanging straight down. The one that I received had the typical high back of a sheath dress and does not have any additional draping. That was a little bit disappointing, but certainly does not change how well made and gorgeous the dress is. Great emerald green color, too.

I received this dress, brand new with the tags on, and immediately knew it would be prefect for my event - a movie premiere. It was dressy enough without being over the top, since I was not walking the red carpet. Would be perfect dressed up with jewelry for a cocktail attire wedding, but could also easily go to brunch with the girls, too. I love it, and actually wish I owned it.

This is a beautiful dress. I would recommend sizing up if you are even remotely curvy. I am always a 14 and this was absolutely too tight across the chest and through the hips, and WAY too short to wear to an event where I would be sitting down most of the time. Still beautiful, though.

I rented this dress for a night out with my husband to celebrate our fifth wedding anniversary. Following the advice of other reviewers, I ordered a size down for back up. I could have worn the 12, but I have a very large chest and the 14 was just more comfortable. The dress is beautiful, the lace is soft, and the beading adds interest without being over the top. As we left dinner, a woman called out to me, "I love your dress!" I had a baby about a year ago, and it was wonderful to have a dress that helped me feel so confident and beautiful on our special occasion.

These are fun earrings. They were my surprise bling with the Elie Tahari gold infused lace sheath dress and they were a perfect compliment.
