Unique and interesting jacquard top from NY designer Mara Hoffman! This bold top is very much a statement piece, and looks best when paired with CONFIDENCE! I rented my normal top size (size 4 in tops/6 in bottoms.) Although snug, the 4 was the right choice. If you have a larger ribcage and/or bust size, consider sizing up! Since the cups are quite small and the neckline is very low, those with a bust size C or larger may experience fit issues. This top would be best worn somewhere that is not a primarily seated or food-centric event. At a seated dinner, you may end up fussing with the bust line and structured ruffles, and the snug fit may become uncomfortable after eating. An art exhibit or museum would be the perfect place to showcase this special piece!

Super cool “updated classic” trouser by Marissa Webb! The color, print, and cut of these pants are 100% classic suit styling. However, the unique and unexpected fold-over waistband detail makes these trousers way more fun and interesting! I rented my usual size the 1st time but they ended up being too large, so unless you’re going for a relaxed look I’d recommend renting 1 size smaller than your usual pant size. After sizing down, the fit was perfect! Waist was lower than expected- I liked where it hit on me (5’8”) but just keep in mind that the lower rise combined with the waist detail may highlight the hip and stomach area. The light grey wool fabric felt soft and comfortable, and the print is a lovely subtle plaid. I wore with white sneakers, but I do think the black heels the model is wearing are the perfect shoe choice! Will rent again :-)

I loved this comfy and versatile romper by Fuzzi! I had originally wanted a size small, but ordered the XS instead since it was available. The XS fit great, so I’d say the fit is true-to-size/size down if unsure. The material is a lovely stretchy tulle/ lace with a fun coral reef print. There are no buttons, zippers, or clasps- just pull it right on! Don’t be alarmed when you first take out of your bag- it’ll look quite small, but again this material is verrrry stretchy so it really does conform perfectly to the body. I absolutely LOVED this print and fabric, and found it quite comfortable and forgiving as well. I really liked that the shorts portion were a bit longer (6-inch inseam) than most rompers- I’m 5’8” so often certain styles end up being too short on me. The length was perfect, and the romper did not budge or ride up! There is a lining inside, so no need to worry about being see-through. This romper is also a breeze to style! The print provides multiple color options to match your accessories, like with the orange purse! Swapping casual accessories to fancier options will easily change the entire aesthetic of the outfit, so it’d be a great piece to bring on vacation! This will pack easily, won’t wrinkle, and is an ideal “day to night” outfit. I tried this on with sneakers, boots, heels, and sandals: I can confirm that it looked great with every shoe I tried!

I really loved this deceptively sexy dress by Toccin! I was not expecting the high stretch/high cling, but I thought the fabric felt wonderfully soft and very comfortable. Thick, high quality knit-like fabric, and the brown shades are quite gorgeous, especially for a neutral print! It does indeed hug every curve, and the side slit is quite high- neither of these were an issue for me, just something to keep in mind if you decide to rent! I had already planned to wear this to a casual sushi happy hour dinner with girlfriends, so to tone down the unexpected sexiness I wore with basic flat sandals, minimal accessories, and casual styling for hair and makeup. The print is obviously quite casual, but the fit will allow you to dress this look up and even wear as a nighttime look! Next time, I’d go in that direction and style with a sleek ponytail, gold earrings, and heels similar to what the RTR model is wearing. A perfect rental to get outside of your comfort zone- go for it!

Adorable and feminine floral cotton dress by Derek Lam Collective! The best thing about this dress is the corseted waist! You will truly appear to be wearing a corset, but without any pain, as I found this dress to be extremely comfortable. The corset ties not really adjustable, although you can tie the bows how you’d like. There is also a tiny clasp at the bust line, which I was happy to see! I have a small chest, so no issues with this staying closed, but I would imagine if you are larger than a C/D you might find this neckline to be too revealing. My only drawback to this dress was partially due to my body type- if you have a larger backside, you’ll certainly experience a bit of the “dress shaped like a pastry” effect. While I do not necessarily think the voluminous skirt looked bad or unflattering, I did find myself subconsciously smooshing down the fabric in the back. It was also right at my limit length-wise, so I’d say if you’re taller than 5’8” you may find it to be too short. Overall, I absolutely loved the colors and the print, and I’d rent again! Pro tip: check out similar corseted styles from this brand for more waist-cinching options!

This beautifully constructed off-white denim dress by luxury French brand Patou is a great rental for Spring/Summer! The details are what elevates this- very high quality thick denim, flattering seam placement, and super pretty gold hardware. For me, this ran large all over. I was still able to wear comfortably, but the fit would have been much better on my body type one size down. If you’re hourglass I’d probably order your normal French size, athletic body type size 1-2 down. I feel that the cut and length of this dress will look fantastic on any height! I was a bit concerned that the back slit might go up too high since I am on the taller side, but it was not an issue. I can picture this dress being a very flattering choice if you want to add curves, especially if you size down. Similarly, if you do have curves, it will flatter and enhance them! I styled with a matching bow and white sandals with gold hardware for a cute daytime look.

Chic high-rise trouser style jeans in a rich, buttery soft denim. I found these to be true to size, but if you are in between sizes or want a little room in the thigh area, I would go one size up! I wore this with the matching vest, but you could easily style this with any top that you’d normally pair with jeans! Length- I am 5’8” and wore with white sneakers, and the length was just right. If you are taller, you may find these jeans to be a bit too short. If under 5’4” you’ll likely need a higher shoe or boot. Styling ideas: *Pair with the matching vest for an elevated take on the denim-on-denim trend! *For work, I’d wear with loafers and a button-up or sweater. *For date night, these jeans would look great with a black bodysuit, boots or heels, and tons of jewelry!

Elevated denim vest by Rosetta Getty! Rich deep blue denim that is buttery soft, with gorgeous gold buttons that make this simple piece feel special. The fit was perfect for me, and I would recommend ordering your normal size for chest sizes A,B, and C. If you have a larger chest you may need to go 1 size up! I did not need to wear a bra since I have a small chest, but a racer back bra with a lower cut cup would work. I wore this with the matching trouser-style jeans, but this vest could be styled a variety of ways. I wore with nothing under, but you could easily layer this over a dress, collared shirt, or a tee/tank. I added a gold necklace to complement the beautiful gold hardware. They are functional buttons, and I think this element of the vest really made it feel chic and interesting!

Darling preppy/tennis style dress by a fav designer, Tanya Taylor! For me, it ran slightly too big. I am usually between a small and medium, went with the medium for length. I would have preferred the fit of a small, since I felt, the fit of the medium added just a little extra bulk to my figure. Despite that, I felt trendy and cute and would 100% rent again! I wore this to an early dinner on a warm night with a mahogany colored shoulder-strap bag that rested at my hip. Super comfortable fabrics (it is mixed-material, since it’s intended to look like wearing a sweater over a skirt!) and perfect amount of stretch. I wore flat sandals, since this dress is a bit short- I am 5’8” and think it’d likely be too short if you are any taller than that. The top portion is a sweater-like material, and the attached skirt portion is a pleated cotton blend. Something I really loved about this dress was that as soon as I put it on, I instantly thought of so many different ways that it could be styled by changing up shoes and accessories! I think it’s really fun to rent pieces that you could wear multiple times and turn it into a completely different outfit. This is also a great strategy if you’re planning to take on a vacation. Because of where the line hits the body from the top portion to the bottom, I would not recommend wearing with a cropped jacket. If you need to wear one, I’d go with a long cardigan, oversized denim jacket, or a utility-style jacket that hits at the hip. Some styling ideas: *To play up the preppy vibe, I’d style with a headband, clean white sneakers, and a neutral color crossbody bag. *For a more beachy/vacation look, I’d go with a Panama or floppy hat, strappy sandals or espadrilles, and a purse in a fun color (I think orange, pink, yellow, or red would look great!) *For brunch/date/running errands, try wearing with a neutral color ankle bootie. Then I’d add a watch, bracelet stack, and hoop or drop earrings (my favs available on RTR are by Jenny Bird and Demarson!)

A trendy and comfortable denim jumpsuit by Hudson, perfect for spring! This would be a great option if you’re hesitant to try the Overalls trend- it has a similar effect in terms of style, but a little less cowboy-core. I sized for my larger bottom-half (I’m a size 4 on top, 6 on the bottom) and the 28 was perfect for me, so I’d say this is pear-shaped friendly! Length on me (5’8”) was just right, but the wide leg/flare combo may overpower a petite figure- the flare is bordering on bell-bottom territory. If under 5’7” you’ll need a platform sneaker/sandal, wedge sandal, or heeled boot to avoid the flare dragging. I’m barefoot in the pic, but ended up wearing a regular white sneaker with this the 1st time, then an animal print two-inch ankle boot the 2nd time. I’d recommend this outfit for casual/daytime wear, but with the right accessories you could dress it up a bit if needed! I found the soft denim fabric to have just the right combination of structure and stretch, being a cotton/lyocell/elastane mix. I wore this several times and received many compliments- will definitely rent again!

Great Romper! (Team RTR Review)
Very feminine, dress-presenting Romper by Lilly P! Classic Lilly print, wrap style with comfortable hidden shorts. This is great for us taller women like myself (5’8”) so that length is not as concerning. On a windy day, the shorts may be revealed in the front, since this is a wrap-style closure, but the stretchy shorts underneath will have you covered! Sleeves are puffy (no shoulder pads) which I found to be cute, but may not be for everyone. The sleeves make this style more youthful-appearing, but I leaned in to that and added a bow to my hair (I’m in my mid-thirties) I’m a size 4 on top/ 6 on bottom, rented the small and was perfect. The wrap tie does leave some room for adjusting for size. I’d say size up if you have any concerns with: tightness in the arms, short-shorts (remember they are hidden though!) or modesty with length. Otherwise, true to size! Casual fabric with *lots* of stretch. I wore with sneaks for a very casual outdoor event, but could easily be dressed up with a wedge sandal and jewelry! I’ll wear again to Brunch with my hair down, a white studded wedge sandal, and some gorgeous jewelry for a more elevated daytime look.
