We were celebrating a 40th birthday at a fancy dinner in New Orleans in September...so this was the right material/style for that time of year. I didn't like the length. It barely skimmed the ground so I wasn't able to wear the shoes I wanted, but it was fine. Just personal preference. I wore the 4 so that it was a bit more fitted on top. I don't think the cold shoulder bit did anything for my arms, but again, that's just my preference. Overall, I liked it, it just wasn't right for my body type.

Previous reviewers are right...the neck is the only drawback to this outfit. I was able to pin it and it still looked great. Im 5'8" and wore the longer length and was still able to wear a good sized heel with it. This was the perfect outfit for my husband's work Christmas party

Rented for an XV party. Full gold sequins will keep anyone young and festive. In the end, I wore the Large so that I could wear heels to the event. The medium fit also, just sat higher on my waist and was therefore shorter in length. I ended up wearing the medium to church the next morning...because, why not!? I would buy this skirt in a heartbeat.

I'm 5'8", 140 lbs, 34B. I wore 5 inch heels and the dress was still about 2 inches too long. When I wear a maxi dress, I expect it to touch the ground, but even still I thought it was a touch too long. However, I absolutely LOVED wearing this dress! It was perfect for an evening November wedding in Colorado Springs. The entire RTR experience was perfect, I will definitely rent again.
