Avoid if you are curvy on the bottom.
I found these pants to be very unflattering. They made my hips look very wide and the length was strange.

Needs a bit of biker styling to look modern
As others have pointed out, the wide collar and length can make this look dowdy with pumps. I wore it with several silver necklaces, my Frye boots, and rolled up the sleeves so they were tucked on the inside (like my left arm in the photo). It definitely helped the dress have a bit of oomph. If you are between sizes, I suggest you go down.

I love wide pants, but these were like palazzo pants. So much fabric, I was swimming in them, and at 5'5" they were way too long for me. If you are on the taller side, you can absolutely pull these off, but my average self could not.

This is a well-made, stylish shirt that I wore to work as well as on the weekend. It elevated the look of my jeans, and I felt more pulled together and polished than I do in my usual ensemble of a t-shirt.

I love this skirt
When I first got this, I thought the pattern was a lot and that I wouldn't really wear it too often. How wrong I was. This is a great looking skirt that works for the office and for more casual situations. I may end up purchasing it, I like it that much!

Basic, foundational layer
The shirt is quite blousy untucked, but once you tuck it in, it has a nice drape and worked well with my work pants on a very hot summer day. It's nothing special, more of a core piece, but it worked for layering.

Very strange fit
Unless you have a black strapless bra (or can go braless), I do not recommend this shirt. While the neck fit perfectly, the armholes were enormous and exposed my regular old nude-colored bra. From the front, the top was incredibly cute, but I would have had to keep my arms hugged to my side all to feel comfortable in it.
