low bust & short hem but super cute!
wore this wine tasting with the girls & it was such a hit. the material is soft and comfy, and really emphasizes an hourglass shape. I did wear nude shorts underneath bc I was scared of accidentally flashing someone but that didn’t happen!

added too much bulk for me personally. imo madewell jackets have a tendency to run oversize but this one was a bit smaller around the hips & shoulders, so be forewarned if you are considering sizing down.

fun & flouncy
this dress is super fun and looks amazing on, get ready for compliments!! the sleeves are even bigger in person but I loved the drama. note that top is very shallow so if you have a bigger chest it might not work and the rib cage area definitely runs tight (BUT it gives you a snatched waist, complimenting the proportions of the dress)

weird fit/tailoring
the print is super cute but a few weird things affected the fit: - straps run SUPER long, I had them at the shortest length and could have gone shorter - there is a weird pucker along the side seems that prevents the dress from sitting normally/flat and is kinda unsightly - runs really big on top & the front v is quite low. idc about being a lil risky but I ended up having to keep my jacket on all night. would definitely suggest fashion tape & pasties for this one -material is vvvv thin with low cuts all around so everything shows and most shape wear won’t work -a personal pet peeve, but the edges of the dress aren’t hemmed so the white stitching shows and makes it look cheap af

think of this top as more of a bra with sleeves rather than a crop top!! i paired with high waisted pants that are higher than average to better balance the proportions of the top. it’s super sexy and was the perfect thing to wear out to the bars for my bday, I got compliments all night

I’m a pretty consistent size 10 but ordered a size up based on other reviews…. even in a 12, this is still quite tight across the tummy and hips and can’t be hidden by shapewear. bummed not to be able to wear it for my bday :(
