This dress really was great. It has some give to it, so was forgiving. I'm short - 5'1" and the length was great, even in flats (which I put on part way through the wedding). I wish it was available in petite because the top was too long. To combat it, I used fashion tape to keep the dress high on my shoulders & let the excess fabric drape in the back. This worked well & kept the empire waist at the right spot. Although it was low cut, I felt like it wasn't showing anything off since the excess fabric was pulled up at the shoulders, but you could easily put a little fashion tape in the bust area to make sure it stays modest. I didn't realize when I ordered it that the dress zips from the hips to the waist, but then is open until the button at the neck, so I added a little fashion tape to my bra strap to keep the fabric there to hide the strap. Again, since it was flowy a the top, it was easy to adjust it to fit me well. I got lots of compliments on the dress and was happy with the whole experience.
