This was a backup dress for a gala that I didn't end up wearing. The color and flare are stunning but the overall fit for me was strange. The bust was rather small even though I had ordered up a size. It seemed like there was more room between the waist and bust, then the ladies were squished at the very top. I think this dress would be best for a smaller bust.

This was a backup dress for an LGBTQIA+ alliance Gala. The first dress arrived damaged but honestly I'm so happy I got to wear this one instead! Well-made, beautiful color, and LEGS. FOR. DAYS. I felt sexy and beautiful and the dress received several compliments. Fit: The length for me (5'4 + 4" heels) was great and the waist fit perfectly. The bust area was rather large so I wore a strapless bra and used fashion tape to keep it secure. Although I did have to adjust the top throughout the night, it wasn't that big of a deal. This dress is SUPER leggy but has built-in bloomers so you won't inadvertently flash anyone. You have to step into the dress/bloomers but there are snaps below for easy restroom access.

This dress made me feel confident, sexy, and glamorous! I received many compliments and a drunk stranger even told me I looked like a total fox. (Thanks, drunk guy!) I recommend this dress on the basis that it is GORGEOUS and exudes an air of class and elegance. And it has a cape!!!! All the beauty aside, it did take a lot to make this dress work. Here's what I have to say: Color & Fabric: Stunning, true red; Thick luxe fabric with little stretch. Length: Runs very long. I'm 5'3 and had to wear 5" platform heels. My husband did end up stepping on my cape a few times. Fit: As others have described, the dress has an awkward fit: loose in the bust and tight in the hips. The 2R felt perfect around my midsection but the top sagged to the point where I kept having to push the shoulder up every few minutes. I also had to employ the use of a LOT of double sided tape and proper undergarments (ahem, Spanx). Bra worn: Strapless corset-type bra by Betsey Johnson. Purchased at Nordstrom and I fully recommend it! It lifted like a dream and was super comfortable to wear. A traditional strapless would work but I didn't feel it was flattering with how loose the dress is in the bust. Other notes: Tape the hanger straps down into the dress. There's like a million of them and they love to peek out.
