Holy high slit, Batman!
I couldn't see this from the photos, but there is a front slit that starts just below the tie detailing. On me it was INCREDIBLY high (but also the skirt sat high on my hips). Besides the slit, fellow hippy ladies should note that there is 0 stretch to the fabric, so size accordingly. I rented thinking this would be flowy enough to accommodate my badonk, but it's a pretty narrow A line.

The boobs. THE BOOBS!
I tried tape. I tried pins. Despite a hidden hook and eye mid-chest and a buttoned neckline, the chest has a slit that gapes open and is SUPER REVEALING. Because the fabric isn't supposed to overlap, any attempt to pin looks bunchy and odd. Because the dress is so flowy, tape looked weird too. The photos made me think this was daytime appropriate but it's definitely an evening wear piece.

Obsessed
These pants are hands down my favorite rental. Perfect for winter, the velvet corduroy elevated the navy pants to statement piece status. The waist is high, but the button fly is cute with tucked in sweaters. So cozy. Rent these!

Most complimented rental
Am I swayed by the compliments of my peers and coworkers? Yeah, but who isn't?! This skirt garnered the most compliments of any rtr piece yet. Navy waist and with no give, slip is a scoch shorter than the overlay. Very light, flowy, chiffony fabric. Really cute muted rainbow. Recommend!

Serviceable sweater--very soft!
Very soft, beautiful color. Short, cropped length on me (May be longer on smaller chested women). Nice, but not show stopping.

The crop is real!
I wore this for a Halloween costume in office. The shirt zips up the back (you may need to ask a friend) and was (on me) quite snug. This created an almost corseted peasant blouse vibe. The crop is above belly button, but with some seriously high rise pants, you can avoid showing skin (at least, standing up). Very well constructed with high-end details.

Easy way to animal print
The sweater is thin, but warm. The print is only on the outside (not a printed fabric). The length and weight make it swingy and casual. Cute; not blowing my hair back.

If you've never rented a DVF top, do it
I'm normally a 2x, but the XL fit me. I got so many comments on this top: it made a pair of jeans seem fashion forward. The fabric was awesome and the pattern was eye catching. Love DVF!

What's not to love?
Overalls are instant cute. I didn't love love love the thick zipper on the chest (it seemed purely decorative even though it functioned). The jeans were stretchy without feeling flimsy. A great staple.

Did I pin the neckline? Sure. But everything else about this dress was a dream--the silk gave the dress movement and the cut was so flattering. And honestly, if I wasn't going to work, I could have worn the top unpinned, which is rarely the case with wrap dresses.

The "yes" "no" pattern is woven, not printed, which can read as fuzzy up close. But I got comments on this all day--it's got so much personality. Stretchy fit, thick material.

No good for hips
The sheer material that's on the back also has a faux layered effect that sits below the bottom hem. Unfortunately for pear shaped gals like me, that means there is no give around the hips, and that this sweater works best on narrower figures. I ended up returning without wearing.

Cozy but polished
This sweater needs to be worn buttoned--there are a set of internal buttons to give it a true double breasted close. Super cozy, but structured and polished. Great for a chilly office.

Never have I been more tempted to purchase!
This dress flatters the curves you have or creates ones you don't! The cotton fabric is stiff enough to create a lovely flared silhouette without feeling stuffy. The true waist made my middle look tiny and my legs look long--literally, how?

Not your grandmother's curtains!
Well, kind of your grandmother's curtains, but in a cute way. Heavy fabric keeps the maxi length skirt from feeling too bohemian, as does the 70s print. Zip and button at waist and, no stretch. I got a positive review from the most fashionable person in my office!

This blazer nods to the 90s trend in a preppy way. I'd prepare to style open, as the hook and eye closure at the waist draws attention to the fact that all the buttons are decorative.

Loves the float, pajama fit--I'm busty and so often these tops never fit my body type as intended. The pattern clashing made this top really special and noteworthy. Will def rent again!

Sweater trench
This medium to heavy sweater looks exactly like a trench coat. It got a lot of comments, but I think because it looked like I was wearing my coat inside? I wore my usual (albeit bigger) size and I was swimming. Long length, long sleeves (that I rolled up). I would have deducted another star for how "daddy's jacket" it looked, but I found myself not mad at it.

Fashion forward but wearable
The stitching on the stripes, the zipper and drawstring detail all mark this skirt as something special. But the A-line fit make it super wearable. The length hit me mid-calf. Fabric was breezy and light. I didn't have much extra room in the waist, but the drawstring is functional, not just ornamental. Thumbs up!

"You look lovely!"
Obsessed. If it wasn't a $670 peasant dress, I'd buy this in a heartbeat. The high quality linen was flowy but not flimsy. The neckline is sexy, but not inappropriate. There are some lovely details on the sleeves that help elevate this dress. People kept complimenting the dress but also me--not even the dress!--as if the dress had magical powers that also made my skin glowy and my hair unfrizzy. I almost believe it does.

Noisy?!
The fit was a dream and I received more compliments on this than any other dress I've rented. Though the cut and details read "everyday", the fabric is stiff in a way that makes it feel more formal. Weirdly, the fabric rubs against itself in a way that's very loud, a "whoosh whoosh" noise that cuts through the quiet of an office. The crossover skirt isn't secured below the waist, so it also falls open when you sit (or under a stiff breeze) revealing the mini-skirt length slip underneath. If I had an event where I would be photographed, but rarely sitting down, I'd get this again. As it was, really I'm practically designed--though gorgeous!

*gasp* the sleeves!
The color is lovely, a peachy pink that's great for spring/summer. The fabric is super light, so the flutter sleeves have a lot of lovely movement. It's cut pretty straight, even in plus sizes--it fit across my shoulders and chest, but was a little tight across my stomach and top of hips. It's only cut to just below belly button, though, so the bunching was minimal. Super sweet top! Would rent again.

I'm a fan!
The reviews are all over the place, but I loved this dress. The tie front was a nice detail on an otherwise standard shirt dress. The fabric was pretty heavy--I plan on renting again in fall. No pockets, but I'll survive. The elastic waist defined the waist nicely.

Doable drop waist
The seam at the true waist made this drop waist less shapeless--it was fitted through the torso and came to just below knee on me. The color and pattern are super cheerful. The neckline is probably a little low for conservative offices, but workable for others. Would rent again!

On-trend and comfy to boot!
The material is stretchy, but heavy enough that it doesn't cling and falls nicely. Super super comfy--the waistband doesn't dig in, but is a strong enough elastic that it will find your skinniest point and hang out there, so hard to control where the waistband lays. I was super nervous about renting pants but these were perfection!
