If you wear this dress, expect to receive compliments all night long! Even the bride commented on this dress! It's a stunner and super comfortable. Beware, it doesn't look that low cut on the model, but it was pretty open on me (36C). I order the 10R and 12R as a backup. The 10 probably fit me the best, but was a little too tight on the tooshy area. I went with the 12, which still fit but was a little looser in the tummy area -- nothing terribly noticeable though. Other than that, it fit in all the right areas and looked great. I only have two complaints with the dress itself: (1) my underarm area felt a little irritated from rubbing against the sequins of the dress all night long, but I guess you can't really help that. (2) The lining of the dress was longer than the bottom seam of the dress, so the black lining kept peeking out and I kept having to adjust it. Had I noticed it earlier, it probably could have been easily resolved with fashion tape or some small safety pins. Regardless, this is a gorgeous dress and I'd definitely get this one again!

The earrings were in great condition and I loved them so much, I wanted to keep them! I'd definitely rent these again if another dress calls for it.

I love Dress the Population dresses. I bought the white version of this dress and wore it for my bridal shower, so I knew this was going to be a great pick as well. The color is just as pictured, a beautiful deep red. The fit, for the most part, was perfect. The bodice area kept scrunching up and I found myself pulling the dress down more than usual, but other than that it fit like a glove. My husband loved this dress and I received a number of compliments throughout the night. Just remember, you can't really wear Spanx or a bra with this dress due to the low and open back. I paired the dress with black pumps and some large drop earrings. You really don't need much for this dress because it's a showstopper on its own!

I thought this was a beautiful dress when I ordered it from RTR. It looked just like the picture and I was pleased. However, even though it runs true to size, the black top part of the dress is made of this very thick, stretchy fabric. I think after multiple use the dress has stretched out in the top part, so when I wore it, it was very loose on my top area and the fabric bunched in a very unflattering way. It essentially made my top half look bumpy because of the loose fabric just bunching up. I was a little disappointed because it would have been perfect if the top part was a little more taut/tighter. Unfortunately, I chose not to wear this dress since I ordered another dress as a backup.

I really wanted to like this dress. It was beautiful, it was true to size, light material and fun. But the cut outs on the sides of the dress were problematic. Depending on how I stood or sat, I would "pudge" out the sides in between the slits and other times when I stood, the cut out fabric would stick out/fold over funny. I'm not sure if this was as a result of the quality of the dress, or maybe I needed a size smaller. In any case, I would probably rent this again in a smaller size to give it another shot because I really liked the design.

This is such a cute dress! I had ordered two different dresses for a friend's birthday dinner and used the free backup size on the other dress. I wish I would have still gotten a backup for this dress, then I would have been able to wear it. Although the dress fit, it was tight in the midsection where the band is and would have been too uncomfortable to wear all night and while trying to sit. I would definitely rent this again in a bigger size to allow more room in the midsection. It's a very flattering dress and the right length -- I'm 5'5.

I think this would have been a cute dress had it fit properly. I ordered two sizes and did not wear either. It was tight across the bust and the bum, but left extra fabric in the midsection, which made it look sloppy and unflattering. Probably won't rent this one again, even in a bigger size.

This was a cute dress and there were really no complaints as to the quality of material or style of the dress. My only complaint was that the dress was large and stretched out from previous use, that I couldn't wear it because it didn't fit properly. I didn't order a back up size when I got this dress and I would rent it again, however, next time I will order a M instead of L. Also, I thought the dress was going to be black, but instead it was more of dark green/black hybrid. Not sure if that occurred from overwashing and it's just losing its color or if it was meant to be that way. Regardless, it's a subtle sexy dress-- just be mindful that this dress IS stretchy and perhaps order a size down.

I still gave this dress a 4-star rating even though I didn't wear it because it was a beautiful dress. The quality of the dress is nice, though a little thicker and the design was very pretty. The gold chain around the neck added extra style. Unfortunately, and I'm not sure if this is usually the case with Lilly Pulitzer dresses, but it ran small and short. I usually wear a size 8 in dresses and the 8 and 10 were both small. The 8 I couldn't even get on. The size 10 dress I could get on and zip, but it was entirely too short and tight to feel comfortable in for an entire evening. In my personal opinion, I wouldn't suggest this dress for "curvy" women. Or, at least, make sure to have either a back up size or another dress!

Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to actually wear this dress out in public, as the event I had rented it for was cancelled. It worked out in my favor though because this dress was seemingly too small on me. In dresses, I tend to range between a size 6-10, depending on the designer. In Herve Leger, I'm almost ALWAYS a size M. I found that the M in this dress, was more like a size S and RTR didn't have a size L available as a backup, so I was stuck with only one size. It could just be me, personally, and my frame. Don't get me wrong, I could get the dress on, but because it's strapless I had that dreaded underarm pudge-- and that's not attractive. However, the dress was beautiful in person.

I love bandage dresses and when it comes down to it, there's nothing better than Herve Leger! This dresses hug your body and flatter your figure. You don't need Spanx because the dress does it all on it's own. The bust area was a little loose on me (mostly on the sides), but other than that, it fit like a glove. This is the third time I've rented an Herve Leger dress and I will continue to do so! Gorgeous!

I usually tend to steer clear of bracelets with a clasp, as they usually are tight around my wrists. I was concerned that I would have the same problem, but this bracelet was perfect. It was loose, gorgeous and the perfect addition to my dress. I wore this as a simple addition to my attire for a wedding. It doesn't look cheap or gaudy-- very elegant. Loved it!

On me, personally, the dress doesn't hang like it does on the model in the picture. It definitely hugged all my curves, but in all the right places. It wasn't tight, but if you're a curvy girl, it will be a sexy dress for you. I got both a size 10 and 12. They both fit, though the 12 gave a little extra room in the midsection and made it look a little bit baggy. The size 10 fit perfectly, however, it was a bit shorter than the 12 and it was tighter around my bum than the 12. I decided to go with the size 12, though it was looser, but I think it looked better overall. I received a lot of compliments on this dress. It's fun, flirty and perfect for a night out, party or birthday. Really liked this dress and will probably rent it again!

I gave this dress three stars, not because of the quality or the sizing of the dress, but rather because it was so incredibly short that I could not wear it out. The overall fit was correct and everything about the dress was fun and pretty-- but just beware that it cuts a little high on the legs. I'm not a very tall person, but I do have a big bum that sometimes gets in the way of dresses and hikes them up a bit. If you have the same problem, I was suggest going with a different dress as this one came up literally right under my bum.

These bra converting clips are ingenious! I first saw a friend on my mine using one and thought it was brilliant and why hadn't I found these little things before?! Unfortunately, she couldn't remember where she had bought hers, so I scoured the internet. One day, on RTR, I was looking through their accessories for sale, and voila, there they were!! I was even more excited to find out that 4 came to a pack! Never again will I have to come up with make-shift ways to clasp my bra. They seem very durable and not cheaply made and they're very affordable. The nifty little clips work perfectly with any bra strap to cinch them together to wear that cross-strap top/dress. One of the best purchases I've made!

The color is actually a deeper red than the picture makes it seem. I thought it was going to be a lighter reddish-orange, sort of like the picture depicts. But in fact, it's much darker. Regardless, I still love the color and I was in need of a red shade.

I gave this dress two stars, not because I couldn't like it, but because I couldn't end up keeping it and wearing it. The dress itself doesn't actually run small. If anything, the size of the dress was perfect, maybe running even a little loose. But good Lord is this dress SHORT! I could barely make a move without something popping out! I'm not a very tall girl, about 5'5-5'6, but this dress was cutting it close to indecent exposure on me. There was no way I could wear this dress in public and I had to return it.

I rented this dress for my 25th birthday celebration. I was hesitant in renting a dress from RTR and worried it wouldn't fit or it wouldn't sit properly. This dress exceeded my expectations. It runs true to size. It was snug in all the right places and definitely a perfect match for my curvy body. I received compliments ALL night on this dress, in addition to a lot stares by onlookers (which were appreciated, because I felt sexy in this dress!) Definitely a great decision. The ONLY drawback that I noticed was that as the night went on, the straps on the top became a little looser apart from the rest of the dress and sat a little awkwardly on my shoulders/neck and had to constantly be adjusted/moved. Other than that, no complaints.
