Great dress for a milestone business occasion
Just a gorgeous, gorgeous dress. This was for a museum opening we were celebrating, and we were major museum sponsors, so it was great to have something classy, business-appropriate and festive. The other reviews regarding fit and fabric were spot-on! I wore the 10, though I got the 8 as a backup, mainly because I wanted the breathing room. SO MANY COMPLIMENTS. Thanks, RTR, for giving me a ritzy wardrobe without ever having to wear the same thing twice!

Perfect fit. Unfortunately it turned cold and our event was outdoors, so I could not wear it. Also, we were doing a press event and announcement for work—but this would’ve been too dressy for anything less important. It’s really a party dress

Did not wear because this is an oddly-fitting dress. I have a long waist and small chest and neither the S nor the M worked at all. If you’re a shorter-waisted, long legged, busty Barbie, it will work for you.

Symphony Ball celebrated our state's Bicentennial. I wanted to look elegant and a little "historic."
Great, great, great dress! The fabric is just lovely. It is comfortable! And everyone adored the dress. If you are going to wear Spanx or tummy control, do know the inset is sheer, so they can't be too high-rise. I wish the neckline had a slightly neater finish to it. I opted not to wear a necklace and wish I had. So don't hesitate to try a collar-style necklace. I felt like a million dollars, and was so happy I had rented from RTR when I saw the major investment some of the other ladies made in serious statement dresses, which everyone will remember the next time they have to wear them!

Gorgeous dress!
This dress fits so well! And it is absolutely lovely in person -- the photos are good but the dress is even prettier up close. I got so many compliments! Wore this for a sponsor party tied to our state's 200th birthday. I was hoping for something that suggested the Regency period (you know, we were founded in 1817), without looking costume-y. This was perfect. It was gorgeous in the setting as well (not my kitchen, but our state capitol building). So, all thumbs-up for this one! Thank you, RTR!

This is maybe the prettiest dress ever...
Other reviews have pointed out the weird fit. They are RIGHT. It is so droopy in the top that bra inserts, shoulder pads and tape could not make this workable. Just the prettiest fabric, and it looks like a garden fairy...but the fairy would have to built like Jayne Mansfield to make this fit. Adding a hook/eye in the back would be a HUGE improvement, as would adding a removable shoulder pad for those who are short between waist and shoulder. So, I didn't wear it. The 8 was true to size except for the top.
