Flattering Fit, Prairie Chic Vibes Weren’t for Me
This dress is flattering, comfortable, and feminine, but I agree with other reviewers who described it as “very trad wife” and “prairie chic.” I loved the pockets, and the bodice cinches the waist nicely without being uncomfortable. However, the sleeves were a bit too billowy for my taste, and the pattern felt a little too “grandma-ma” for me. With a few tweaks, this concept could be something I’d love—but in this execution, it just wasn’t for me. I didn’t end up wearing the dress. Fit reference: My measurements are 36" bust, 34D bra, 29" waist, and 41" hips. I usually wear a size 4/6 in dresses, a small in tops, 27/28 in stretchy jeans, and 6/8 in non-stretch pants. I tried the dress in a size 4, but would have preferred a more snug fit in the bodice—sizing down to a 2 might have been a better fit.

Not my style
This dress wasn’t my style—too matronly for my taste—and I really didn’t like how the belt loops stuck out. I didn’t end up wearing it. Fit reference: My measurements are 36" bust, 34D bra, 29" waist, and 41" hips. I usually wear a size 4/6 in dresses, a small in tops, 27/28 in stretchy jeans, and 6/8 in non-stretch pants. I tried the dress in a size 4, which was the right size but much longer on me than on the model.

Wanted to love it, but didn't.
I thought I was going to love this, but I didn’t. The print and colors are beautiful, but I wasn’t a fan of the fabric or the fit—it was just okay overall. I didn’t end up wearing it. Loved It Once I Put On Shape Wear!
I’m a big fan of Ulla Johnson prints and immediately loved this one. But I had major reservations about the fit—drop waists are usually unflattering on my midsection. When I first tried it on, I really disliked how it accentuated my belly and felt self-conscious. It was almost a “hell no.” But then I tried it with shape wear—and I liked it! The asymmetrical drop waist is a little odd at first, but it's more flattering on me than a typical straight drop waist. It grew on me. For comparison, I also tried the Ulla Johnson Amaya dress (which has a straight drop waist) and hated it—even with shapewear. Back to the Fernanda dress: it’s super comfy. The lightweight, slinky, soft, stretchy fabric feels amazing. It’s also a great transitional piece—breezy enough for a summer night but easy to layer when it’s cooler. Very versatile: you could wear it to work, a party, a date night, or on a trip (bonus: it doesn’t wrinkle!). Fit reference: My measurements are 36” bust, 34D bra, 29” waist, and 41” hips. I usually wear size 4/6 in dresses, small in tops, 27/28 in stretchy jeans, and 6/8 in non-stretch pants. I got the Fernanda dress in a size small—it fit perfectly and wasn’t too long on me.

A Lovely Everyday Skirt
When I first tried it on, I thought it looked a bit blah—but it quickly grew on me. The pattern is pretty and understated, and I love that it has pockets and is so lightweight. I live in Miami, so I’m always on the lookout for breathable, pretty skirts I can wear in hot and humid weather. The drawstring waistband adds to the comfort. It’s flattering and wasn’t too long on me (I’m 5'3"). Also, I’m sometimes a size 6 in Ulla Johnson skirts--my hips measure 41"--but the size 4 fit me well. Overall, a lovely and easy everyday skirt.

Title: Not What I Expected — Just Okay
The color is beautiful and I liked the minimalist style, but the bag was much larger than I anticipated. It also only has one small flat pocket inside, which wasn’t enough for keeping things organized. Overall, the style just didn’t suit me, so I ended up returning it. It might work better for someone looking for a roomier, minimalist bag.

Very Comfy and Versatile, But Just Okay and Not for Me
I wanted to like this dress, but ultimately, it wasn’t for me. Pros: Super comfy—the lightweight, slinky, soft, and stretchy fabric feels great. It’s a fantastic transitional piece: breezy enough for a summer evening but easy to layer for cooler weather. Very versatile—it could work for the office, a party, date night, or travel (especially since it doesn’t wrinkle!). Cons: The pattern was just okay. Not my favorite Ulla Johnson print, and I didn’t love how the colors looked against my skin tone. Online, it looked like it had more brownish tones, but in person, it was more purple and yellow. The main downside for me was the drop waist—I found it unflattering for my body type and wouldn't wear it without shapewear. It’s a nice dress overall and would probably look great on someone else, just not the right fit for me. The Ulla Johnson Fernanda Dress, which is a similar style is more flattering on me.

Simple, Elegant, Perfect
The necklace was quality, beautiful, and the exact length I was looking for. I wore it with the Nicole Miller Lady in Waiting Gown and the Andrienne Landau Grey Marabou Capelet. It looked stunning.

Beautiful, Soft, and Warm
I am always cold and I am so glad that I rented this to wear along with the Nicole Miller Lady In Waiting Gown and Crystal Petals Necklace by Kate Spade New York Accessories. The shaw was warm and beautiful and I received tons of compliments. I liked it so much that I am considering investing in one of my own. it was perfect.

HUGGED MY CURVES PERFECTLY!
I felt like a million bucks in this dress and got compliments all evening long. The color is gorgeous and the material is a high-quality stretch that offers a lot of give and hugged me in all of the right places. Most importantly, it was extremely comfortable and easy to move in. I typically wear a size 4 in everyday clothes, however, the size 0 regular fit beautifully. I tried this dress in a size 0 regular at the Rent the Runway showroom and found it to be too long (even with 4 inch heels), however, the 0 regular that I received in the mail was just the right length for me. I guess there is some length variability. I accessorized with the Crystal Petals Necklace by Kate Spade New York Accessories and the Grey Marabou Capelet by Adrienne Landau. They looked fabulous together!
