Visually Interesting; Lots of Compliments

It's hard to style a baby bump for an evening wedding... this was the perfect LBD for the occasion. The neckline was visually interesting and the short/midi skirt variance provided depth, especially when walking around. I paired it with gold heels and jewelry. Loved the look and felt great in it!

Felt like PJs, and looked like 'em too...

The *thought* of this velvet jumpsuit was a good one, but in reality it looked like I was wearing my PJs. The top of the jumpsuit was low-cut and something seemed to be wrong with the seams. Felt frumpy so I didn't wear it.

Not as flattering as I thought it would be.

I was looking forward to wearing this dress as a bridesmaid in a December wedding. However, when it arrived, it was VERY short (despite ordering the regular length - I'm 5'7") and tight around the midsection, which resulted in a less-than-flattering look. The top part was nice, I just wish I would have had the time to order the correct size. Pay attention to length on this one!

Perfect Alternative to the LBD for Work Cocktail Event

This dress was conservative, yet still festive and fun. It was a great choice for a cocktail attire work event. The lines of the dress are very flattering to curvier body types. Definitely don't rush trying to put it on - I ended up with the front panel of fabric in the back! Luckily I referred to the photo on RTR and was able to fix it before walking out the door. All in all a great, work appropriate option that stood out just enough!

Different, beautiful... worth the price!

I stepped outside my comfort zone with this dress - green sequin ivy, really? And I'm SO GLAD I did. It is so incredibly flattering and garnered so much attention at a work event where everyone was wearing floor length gowns. It hugs curves in just the right places. I ordered an 8R and 10R and the 8R fit perfectly. Doesn't need much in terms of jewelry - pair with a simple cuff bracelet or dangle earrings and you're good to go. The only complaint - toward the end of the night the sequins started irritating the skin on my underarms... but I was wearing it for about 10 hours! If you're considering this gem - go for it!

Mardi Gras ball gown success!

This dress definitely stood out while everyone else was wearing the latest designs from Dillard's (which would have been me, too, without RTR!). I was worried the 8R wouldn't fit, since I'm typically an 8-10, but it fit like a glove, flattered all the right spots and was the perfect length. The top portion was a little loose, which I'd read in the other reviews, but it wasn't anything noticeable. Watch out for the weird fabric though - it definitely wrinkled a lot, especially after a seated dinner. Overall a great choice for the ball!

Tons of compliments on my first RTR dress!

First of all, I loved the art deco look and feel of this dress.. Not my usual style, but I was willing to branch out for the bf's work holiday party. Couple things to share: 1. It runs true to size/maybe a TAD bit big. I am usually a 8/10 and I wore the medium. Important note: I think someone with bigger boobs wore the dress before me, because the top portion was stretched out, causing the "boob line" to be lower than I'm comfortable with. At times you could see my strapless bra peeking out at the top and I kept having to pull it up. The sides are see through, but it's not that big of a deal to wear the strapless bra with it. 2. The sequin problems I read about in other reviews really are an issue. You can see the turned pieces a mile away. But it wasn't the worst in the world so I went head and wore it. 3. The bottom part of the dress shows any lines - I couldn't wear spanx because you could see where the line was. Ended up looking better without them. The length was perfect though. Not too short but also not too conservatively long. 4. The earrings I ordered came broken, but that's for another review! Overall - I received a lot of compliments on this dress because it's different and adds some fun to what could be just another LBD event. I was happy with my choice!
