The waist forgives nothing and hit me more where my stomach flared than in my smallest part, so I am glad I got a 6 and not a 4. The length was manageable with 4 inch heels. But if you're under 5'3, don't do it unless you're prepared to pin it or wear stilts. I almost ate it a couple of times on the dance floor. But I got more compliments on this dress than any dress I have ever worn, so the potential face plant was worth it.
