Sized down and they are perfect
Originally rented in an 8. Way too big. I am typically between a 6 and an 8. Rented again in a size 4 and they are perfect. I am 5’8”. For photo I put on 3” wedges and length is perfect. Size down, make sure you’re tall and good to wear shoes w height. They are soft, not jean material although they look like jeans. If they weren’t so pricey I would keep them.

This sat more on my hips while I would have preferred it to fit higher/tighter on my waist. Didn’t wear. I’m not sure I would consider renting again in a smaller size. Gave me school teacher vibes. A very full skirt, somewhat heavy.

Not itchy when worn w turtleneck
Yes. It’s horribly itchy if the jacket comes in direct contact with your skin. I didn’t think I would wear it. However, I decided to follow the advice of other reviewers and wear with a turtleneck. No itchiness whatsoever. Color and fit were lovely.

I’m guessing this is made for a tall person with a very small bust. The quality is impeccable and is a nice long length. The bust had major gapping although it fit fine everywhere else, maybe even a smidge large. Sad this didn’t work. It is a very pretty dress.

I couldn’t wear this whatsoever. The cutout was much too high and about half my breast was exposed. When I first tried it on I thought I surely had it on wrong. I was surprised no other reviewers mentioned the same problem. At 5’8”, the length was perfection.

I would have bought it but it hung too low at the chest and the straps aren’t adjustable. I thought about having it tailored but overall I think a smaller size would be best. I had to pull the belt in quite a bit. If I see it in a 6 I will snag it. Perfect midi length for a day at the office or nicer weekend wear. Recommend!

I couldn't tell if this was just worn out or if the colors were supposed to be dull. I wore it anyways and received compliments. Tight fit, which I liked, and wore with a pair of belted slacks. I would have considered buying, had I received this brand new.

Slit is way to high for professional attire
I wanted to love this but the buttons ended way too high on my thigh. I got creative and opened it up some and wore with skinny fit slacks. Wasn't my favorite look. Someone might like this look more for a date night or outting where being a little sexy is appropriate.

Too small at bust
As others mentioned, the bust is too tight. I was able to zip it up without any trouble but the gapping between a few buttons was ridiculous. Chest look a bit smooshed when I tried to resolve by pinning. The tie covers this somewhat. I would say get your true size if you have a very small bust, otherwise size up. Aside from the fit issue, the dress is beautiful and offers a polished look - but I don’t think I’ll give it a 2nd try with a size up.

Loved this. I thought my usual medium might be too big based on other reviews but it was fine. I could have worn a small but I think the look was right with the medium. Use the tie to cinch it up to your liking. I received compliments all day long. One reviewer’s dress was unbelievably wrinkled. I don’t know what happened there. Mine wrinkled, as linen will, both nothing like that. Would rent again.
