This dress is SO beautifully constructed - from the use of the stripes with the bias cut of the fabric, the full lining, and it has hidden side seam pockets which are always appreciated! I got many compliments while wearing this! At 5'1", this was calf length and if I was going to be picky, I would have shortened the hem of over blouse, which ran just slightly long on my short torso. I still loved it. As several other reviewers have noted; it is made from a wool suiting fabric and would definitely be too warm for hot weather - I work in a heavily air-conditioned building and I think it would work for that environment. I wore this in winter when it was quite cold, so I had a long-sleeved underlayer which I felt worked with the dress - particularly since the continued use of the stripes and the split back are design elements that you don't want to cover up!

I wore this both dressed up at work with a pencil skirt and jewelry and as a more sporty look with jeans. Fits very true to size, but it is a boxy cut. The shorter length is probably slightly cropped on someone of average height; at 5'1" it was just right for me. Loved that it has pockets!

I really liked this dress for it's modern cut and design! I do think it is probably a bit more flattering on a curvy or tall figure ( I am short and athletic/straight) but I liked that I felt very sophisticated in this dress and the cut of this dress - particularly the dropped flare of the skirt - was very flattering to what few curves I have. At 5'1", the hem falls mid-calf and the body-conscious fit required long-line underwear underneath to avoid awkward pantylines and bra lines. It's a fairly heavy body hugging fabric with a higher neckline, I think it would be far too warm to wear in higher temperatures; that said, I wore it in winter and I needed tights and long sleeves as an underlayer because it was too cold without it.

This dress is definitely VERY short, even on my 5' 1" frame. That said, paired with tights and a blazer, I still felt okay wearing it to work. The proportions of the cut really made my legs look long and the jewel-toned emerald green is also much prettier in person than in my photo. It's a very simple dress overall, easily dressed up or down.

Love the design of this jacket - it's very modern and has cool pocket details that don't show well in the photos. I got this in a 36 which was definitely too large, but because of the boxy shape of the jacket, I think this is one of those items where sizing down wouldn't help; it would have to be cut for a petite frame.

Very fitted in the bodice; the dropped flare leaves a lot of forgiveness in the hips. I'm 5' 1", so this was tea length (about 1-2" above the ankle) on me and looked really nice with high heeled ankle boots. The details are beautiful - the fabric is a heavier weight polished cotton (with a blazer it worked really well for cooler weather) and the pleating and color are stunning. Beautifully made as well - I would buy this if I could afford it!
