Gorgeous for any figure!
I rented this for an industry event and could not have been happier with the fit. The dress definitely runs large, so I ended up wearing the 2 (the 4 was swimming on me!) with a belt. The dress was short on me, but not inappropriately so (at least not for the event in question). I imagine that due to the A-line shape, the fit would flatter any body type. Definitely size down and you'll be good to go.

Gorgeous Color and the adjustable straps were a plus!
I rented this dress for a Luau event even though the regular length was all they had available. I am super tall and therefore could have used an inch or so more at the hem. Still the length was fine enough and the dress looked great on. Be advised that a traditional bra can't be worn; I ended wearing self-adhesive cups which worked perfectly (tried going without, but doing so gave me a uniboob of sorts). Best feature of the dress is the beautifully open back. Perfect for a summer day/night. I Highly recommended this one!

This garment creates a beautiful, feminine silhouette.
This dress is my favorite rental to date! The garment itself is extremely well made (heavy duty material), very warm on a chilly October night, and fit beautifully. There was plenty of give to the fabric and the bust darts created an amazing silhouette that somehow also cinched the waist. The color was a very chic navy as well. I am very tall so the hem was well above my knees, but it was still tasteful and classy. I am generally a size 2 and this dress was true-to-size, fit like a glove (though I did wear a Spanx just because) - had no need for a backup size. I cannot recommend this dress enough...would definitely buy it if the opportunity ever arose. Thank you RTR!

The complements just poured in...
This dress is beautifully unique, very well crafted. I am super tall and was a little concerned because I needed it to be a modest length (at the knee or below). I was pleased to receive it and discover that the length was perfect. People (even complete strangers) commented on how nice the dress looked on me - it was definitely figure flattering. The only reason for the four stars and not five, was that the material had no stretch whatsoever. So my normal size (2) was too snug to get on, causing me to resort to my backup size (4), which fit but was a little bunchy in the midsection. I kept having to pull it down by the hem to keep the bunchiness from appearing. Other than that the dress looked great and was worth the rental price.

Forever in love with this gown...
While not the most comfortable garment to wear, you will look like a million dollars in this gown, so I guess it was worth it. Sequins do cause chafing/redness (especially in the underarm area) as other posters have mentioned. Other than that, this was my first rental (ordered this for my 10th Anniversary bash) and I adored the dress from beginning to end. I am super tall and was concerned about the length, but it was actually perfect, even with 2" heels. Also it fit perfectly and was true to size. Purple is also my favorite color and the shine on this number was incredible. Would definitely recommend, just remember that there could be some irritation when you wear this gown. Well worth it for my special night. Will remember this dress forever...

Being unable to zip it is something I won't soon forget, lol. :0)
I normally wear a size 2 in gowns, sometimes a 4 depending on the designer and cut. This dress is cut so slim in the hips I could not get the 2 on. The 4 was my backup size, but it was also way too tight (which is very unusual for me). Also I am very tall & narrow and had the 4L not been too tight, it still would have been shorter than I would have wanted (I.e. would had to have worn flats). Such a shame because the gown is clearly well made and the fabric/back train is absolutely beautiful...if you do manage to find a size that fits, have a steamer or something on hand because it arrives uber wrinkled.

Fit like a glove...loved it!
This dress was super classy - perfect for a "not too formal" wedding. It is definitely true to size and fit like a glove, so some may need to size up on this one. Loved the lace paneling in the front, though I agree with one of the other posters, that the strap across the back was very awkward (I ended up tucking it in and going with an open back). The length, something I'm always concerned about, was perfect for my 6'0 frame. Paired it with some gold jewelry and the look was perfect. This was my second RTR rental and I could not have been happier.
