She’s beauty and she’s grace and she’s a rectangle
Classic, preppy, lovely, multi-seasonal, and with a detachable collar! I felt great in this for zoom client meetings and a weeknight date. Take it from a straight-up-and-down gal that this dress is FULLY straight-up-and-down. I’m usually a 38 in Sandro because of a larger bust but the 36 on this was great. Note, however, I’m short. Talls may want to order TTS depending on the look you’re going for. Only cons: the bust gaped a little (had to wear a sports bra; fashion tape would have done the trick too) and the high quality material is starting to retain the scent of dry cleaning the way wool, silk, linen, and truly lovely natural materials do over time. Give her a whirl for a clueless reboot that’s subtle enough for your regular life.

Pretty print and forgiving
I edge between XS and S, got the S. Wore it to a casual dinner at a restaurant with my toddlers and regretted the S because the neckline slit is low, so I was occasionally tugging up the bust section if one of my kids was tugging on my shoulder, etc. Still felt cute and not inexpensive without trying too hard. It’s a pretty print, good for “kinda hot mom” stuff, and the cut could suit a lot of body types with plenty of stretch in the bodice. Just make sure you have a deep v bra. I’m not pregnant, but this would be bump/postpartum-friendly.

Background is Darker Than it Appears
The print is GOOOOD, but the dress didn’t work for me personally because of cut and background color. Cut: The generous, unfitted shape hung like a tent over my midsized boobies and swallowed my narrow lower body. The cut of the arm holes showed off my little “chicken wing” armpit fat. Overall, it just hit my personal shape in all the wrong ways, but I think this would flatter a truly athletic body type, or a pear shape. Color: on the model, it looks like the background is ivory. In person, it’s more like a khaki/light brown, and it washed me out. Really fun piece and would look great on a lot of gals. The material is also breathable and comfy, and resists wrinkling more than you’d think. Bummed that it just didn’t work for me.

Nice, but hit me in the wrong places
Pretty color, well-made. Sadly, this dress just landed in a way that accentuated my negatives. It CLUNG to my stomach but gaped around my (admittedly meager) bum and thighs. I think this would look fabulous on someone with a larger bum and thighs (relative to their waist).

Elevated and fun, with caveats
This dress is chic but still playful, and it’s a comfy, breezy linen-like material (but didn’t wrinkle TOO bad). The astrology references in the print are fun and not garish. This dress would be great for summer Europe trip days, outdoor concerts, or a casual rehearsal dinner. Unfortunately, it ran a little big for me. If you’re between sizes, I would size down (but note my measurements for reference). Overall, a lovely, fun, and high quality piece.

Short and tight on purpose--that's the style of the dress. Fun, feisty little cocktail dress. Wore for a cocktail fundraiser at my kids' preschool and loved it!

Nice, but was “meh” on me body type
I didn’t wear this. Nice material, good quality and condition, and pretty cut, but I’m straight through the hips without much of a waist and this garment just didn’t flatter my shape.

Nice design, hip-friendly, poorly mended
Pros: This dress is a classic style, well made, beautiful neckline and universally flattering color. As always, RTR customer service helped with the issues described below. Cons: I have slender hips and the dress swallowed me below the waist. Not flattering on the bottom half and made me look larger than I am. It was also mended up the back slit with OBVIOUSLY non-matching saffron-colored thread (see photo). I expect better garment maintenance and QC for the cost of this service.
