Glad I followed my hunch on this one! This dress follows UK sizing, which is 2 sizes "up" from US sizing. I typically wear a US 8 but went with a US 10/UK 14 with this one because I have a larger chest. Honestly, it would have been even better in my original size, a UK 12. If the sizing reviews are scaring you off, worry not, this amazing, gorgeous, vibrant, BEAUTIFUL dress is true to your UK size.

I was trying to choose between this dress and a more low-key navy one but I am so glad I went with this one. The only con is that the front trumpet detailing wasn't super structured so it slid down a bit in pictures but the dress itself was very secure. The color is more stunning in person, and the thick material was very forgiving and easy to dance in, despite the summer heat. I felt very glamorous and regal in it. Definitely rent if you're on the fence! Wore with gold accessories.

really loved this dress once i unzipped the bag but it was hard to get into and was way too tight across the chest, so i didn't end up wearing it. rather disappointing because a different dress in the same size from this same brand fit me really well. i'm a 34E so if you're a bit bigger in the chest i recommend sizing up! gonna try again eventually :)

i loved this jacket! i didn't even know about the matching dress when i rented. at first, i wasn't sure if i could pull it off, but it's worked really well with a tea length black dress i have. i loved the drawstring waist as well. though i'm sure a small would have fit fine, the medium was perfectly billowy and gave me such a flattering silhouette. i also wore this out to run errands on a 60 degree day and felt perfectly warm.
