I would say this fits true to size, I'm usually a size 6 in most dresses and this fit perfectly. This is a beautiful dress, if you are on the fence- go for it!

I wore this dress for a wedding and really liked it. I'm a standard size 6- smaller up top then bottom and felt this ran a bit small thru the bust and waist. In order to zip and fasten everything I had to actually hold my breath and help a friend with the zipping process. Once on, it looked great. Very flattering and lots of compliments! Definitely on the tighter side- but that just kept me from eating 3 pieces of cake... Instead of 2. :)

This dress was very pretty, but not a knockout. It didn't have the "look" of a very expensive dress and I felt that the lace around the neckline could have been stiffer (or something of the like) to make it lay flat. It was pretty on and fit well, although was a bit daring in the bust area - just wasn't a WOW dress for me.

This dress was stunning on and incredibly flattering. It was definitely low in the bust, I wore a sticky bra and fashion tape and still had some issues with it riding down on me. I am a 34 C/D so not everyone will have this problem. Other than that I had no problems, it was so beautiful! I had people coming up to me all night saying they needed to know where I had gotten it because they wanted their boyfriends to be looking at them the way mine was looking at me! ;) Definitely recommend, just be prepared for the potential "bustiness" you might be exposing.

This dress was incredibly well-made. I couldn't imagine why a dress would ever cost over $2,000 for a simple black dress, but this one had details that made it stunning. In person it was obvious how extremely meticulously this dress was crafted and it showed to others. I had multiple people stop and ask where I had bought my dress and to tell me I looked like Grace Kelly. I would absolutely recommend renting if you have an occasion where you must look classy and tasteful, yet still elegant and stylish.

I rented this dress in a 4L and a 6L; I'm 5'7 and with 3 inch heels it was the perfect length. I ended up wearing the 6 even though the 4 fit better, but the colors were more vivid on the 6 (I assume it had been dry cleaned less times.) I LOVED this dress, it was flattering, sexy without being overt, and was such a stunner in person. Everyone from the wedding party to the waitstaff asked where I had bought it. Keep in mind that the dress is pure silk, so wrinkles AND tears (crying tears, not rips) will show. I found myself tearing up during the ceremony and had my boyfriend point out the now noticeable splashes on my chest area. Unfortunately, due to the material, these stayed the rest of the night. Also, I had to steam the dresses upon their arrival, as they were far too wrinkly to be worn right out of the garment bag - keep that in mind. Other than that I would definitely rent this dress again for a summer event. It's really gorgeous and you can't go wrong with it! :)

I wore this dress for a more conservative wedding and it was the perfect choice. It was a stand out, but for all the right reasons. It was comfortable to dance in all night and the gold lace/beading on the sides really sparkles and gives a little black dress something special.

I wore this for a rehearsal dinner and it was extremely figure flattering. However, it did have some size problems. The bust was loose, I am a 34C and found both the 4 and the 6 to be quite big. Most frustrating was the black hanger straps which spent half the evening annoying me, or just plain sticking out for the world to see. I recommend taping those down if possible, however, you will have to spring for fabric tape as regular didn't work. Other than that, the dress was really pretty - the red was vibrant and the bow was flattering. Lots of compliments, but I wouldn't recommend the dress for dancing, you would spend the whole night hiking it up and then pulling down at the hips.

I usually wear a 6 in dresses, however, people had mentioned this dress ran small so I ordered it in a 6 and an 8. The 6 fit great and I'm definitely a curvy 6. 35/27/39 if that helps. This dress looked fantastic on and I got so many compliments. I had people asking all night about it. If you need a classy dress, this is the one! Only drawback was that it was a bit loose up top and too low in the back for a strapless bra, so a nubra or some other backless bra might be helpful!

This dress was gorgeous! It definitely shows off your curves and fits snugly. If you are pear shaped (like me) I recommend ordering the size up as your back up. I ended up wearing the 6 as it fit better in the chest region, but was slightly too snug on the lower half. The 8 was better in the hips, but way too loose in the chest. Other than that it looks beautiful on and sure to get compliments!
