Rented these to pair with a gown for a wedding, but didn't wear them in the end.
The overall color is much more like black with diamante highlights than silver/metallic with sparkles. Perfectly lovely, but not what I was looking for. And the drop wasn't quite long enough for me.

Wore this dress with flats to a friend's black tie wedding.
I was about 15 weeks pregnant (but with a very-much-popped bump!) and found it very comfortable and easily fit a strapless bra underneath. I sized up a bit as the 8R fit but was a bit too chesty for me. Totally recommend.
