For when you want to feel like a disco ball (in a good way!)
This dress is a wow dress - it runs true to size, but it is SHORT. So consider how much WOW you feel like bringing to the party. I wore it with opaque tights and even bought a blazer to tone it down. I also wore it with a waist-belt, which I think helped the shape. When I got it I was worried it might be a little bit "much" for the wedding we were going to - but the opaque tights and the blazer helped. I got a lot of compliments!

It was a "totally appropriate" dress
The other reviews were really accurate - it runs true to size but is boxy around the middle. Based on suggestions from prior renters, I brought a belt to wear it with and that helped. The dress is what it is - totally appropriate, I might even say conservative - but definitely not a "wow" piece. I liked having the long sleeves b/c I was wearing it to a rehearsal dinner that I'd fear would be cold. Might be great for a work event? Or something else where you wanted to look good in a reserved-sort-of-way.

GREAT DRESS! Though does not photograph well
This dress fit great and was super fun to wear - I got a ton of compliments on how "fun" it was and how great it looked. That said, the photos didn't do it justice. Which is a shame. Really fun party dress!

You get what you pay for.
I was excited about how cheap this was to rent. Then I got it. And I knew why. It would be a cool design, but it just looks really fake. It was shinier than I expected based on the photos I saw online, and not in a good way. I was excited about a gold bangle with a little intrigue, but this was just too much. Not for me!

Big, blast of art deco on your wrist.
This was big. So big I found it a bit unwieldy to wear. I liked the look of it (and it is adjustable) but even when I made it as small as possible, it was still just huge. Not for the faint of heart, but fun!

They're big and bohemian, but beware - they're heavy.
I rented these to try them out to see if I might want to buy them for my wedding. They're cool looking but they were bigger than I expected. Also, they were heavy. I couldn't wear them for too long without having to take a break.

The dress itself is cute and made of nice material but was too large.
I am normally a 6 (certainly a 6 in the hips) but the dress was far too large, even in a 2. It's cute and nicely constructed, but not particuarly sexy.
