We rented this gown for 3 bridesmaids to wear. It's a beautiful gown with absolutely no give. I'm an apple shape and wore the 8: the second girl a size 4 pear; the 3rd a straight and narrow size 2. Our straight and narrow friend had no issues. Me (the apple) and the pear found that the waist dug in so tightly, we unzipped it at every opportunity. Both of us tried going up a size, which had the same waist issue with a gaping bust. Shapewear didn't help either. We looked good, but were in lots of discomfort!

Beautiful dress. I loved the open back and the fab color. The A line cut was also slimming for those like me who are trying I hide a post-baby tummy! The shoulder embellishments are a mix of yellow gold and silver. They remove the need for a necklace, so you can get by with just small earrings. The fabric is unforgiving. There is no stretch so the top was more loose than I'd prefer. Overall, I really liked it for a more conservative, non-statement look. (Which matched the wedding scene I attended!)
