The 8R wasn't available for a backup and honestly it may have been too big, but the 6R was pretty snug. It definitely forced me to stand up very straight all night long. The dress was a smidge shorter in the front then I expected or would have liked. The back was a bit longer so if I had gone with the long I would have been stepping on it all night. With that being said, you could definitely see my whole shoe. There is gathers in the dress that weren't as evident in the picture but helped to cover any trouble spots and made for a more flattering fit. Overall, I really liked the dress and got many compliments.
