I’d buy this if I could- it was that stunning. A gorgeous shade of red, which you could wear in either summer or winter. I wore the L- I’m 5’8” and wore 3” heels, which had it hitting exactly above the floor. The fabric gathered in a really flattering way. My only issue was that when I sat, the slit was very dangerously close to revealing everything, so I had to rearrange a lot every time I sat down. But, not a huge complaint and easy to work with! 5/5.

This dress was AHmazing. I honestly loved it so much that I wish I could buy it! The thigh slit was the perfect height to make the skirt extra perfect for swing dancing, and the gorgeous, vivid blue made me stand out from the crowd. I felt truly gorgeous in this dress. I'm 5'8", and the R was the right height for me while wearing 3" heels.

Like many Elizabeth and James dresses, this one runs a bit small. However, for a small-busted woman like me, the larger size (4) just had a little bit too much extra fabric in the chest/upper waist, so I elected to go with the smaller size (2). I'm pretty tall, and it was a very modest length that balanced well with the inherent sexiness of the cutouts and the color. I will, however, warn fellow pale women that this dress would probably look better on someone with a bit of a tan! Still, no regrets. It was a great dress for both eating and dancing, and I would definitely consider renting it again.

The dress is completely gorgeous... so gorgeous, in fact, that I was told by a group of women I didn't know that I was one of the "best dressed" at the wedding. It fits exactly as I expected it to- I usually wear a 2 or 4 and rented both the XS and the S, and wore the S. The XS was a bit tight around my underarms. Definitely had room in the bust for a woman with a fuller bosom, but not so loose that it looked odd on a smaller chest. I honestly have no idea who could wear the "Long" size- I'm 5'8'', wore 3'' heels, and the dress still trailed on the floor, on the front in particular (which you can see in the photo). The slit made it very easy to move around in and wasn't at all risqué. I would own this dress in a heartbeat if I had the opportunity to! Highly recommend.

This dress fit great and was super comfortable on... so long as I was standing up. I only noticed one other reviewer mentioning it being tight in the collar, so maybe it has to do with my height + dress size combo, but when I sat down in this dress it was *very* tight across my neck. So much so that I don't think I could have worn it to a dinner (which is what I had planned to wear this to). It really felt very normal when I was standing up, though! So, this dress was a dream that could not become reality. Still, the dress was a beautiful color, lovely fabric, and was classy with a hint of sexy.

I ended up not wearing this dress to the event I was hoping to wear it to; it was a little too gala-esque for the occasion. Is it super sultry, but still classy- the material is very heavy and feels of good quality. One thing that I guess I didn't realize from the pictures was that the slit in the back is fairly significant. On the one hand, this is very good for walking, because you wouldn't able to move your legs much without it. On the other, I wish the slit were on the side so the dress would be easier to dance in (disclaimer being that this opinion is from me trial-dancing in my room, but I didn't actually get the opportunity to try it in a dance-all-night situation). Highly recommend for women with a smaller chest, like me! You'll want some fashion tape to keep the dress on your skin, but I felt like the likelihood of a wardrobe malfunction was otherwise nonexistent. Lovely dress- just not what I needed for the occasion.

I wore this dress to a charity ball. I ordered the 4 with the 2 as a backup, and ended up wearing the 2- probably because I'm not too endowed up top. The dress has a VERY flattering fit, hugging the waist and then flaring out. The back is slightly longer than the front, which made me feel extra secure moving around. It was very comfortable to dance in, too! The v neck was cut quite low, but I was able to wear a bra with very little of it peaking out. The color is GORGEOUS, even better in person. I highly recommend it!

I wore this dress for a law school formal. The dress fit very nicely over my hips- fitted, but not too tight. I'm not generously endowed, yet the dress felt quite tight up top, so I would recommend that women with a larger chest be careful when choosing a size! Overall it was marvelous to dance in, and I felt amazing in it. I would definitely wear it again.

It's a really pretty dress! Definitely suited the occasion, which was a senior formal at college. I ordered it in the 2 and 4, and the 2 ended up fitting better (perhaps because I am small chested) but it was a nicely cut dress overall! It even stayed up admirably when the dancing started.
