This was a choice for a formal event that I did not wear. Love the color and front detail but the material is not as thick as other gowns and it will show ever little detail and dimple in the back, no matter your build -- meaning Spanx or commando. Works perfect for full bust, and not so low cut that women who aren't comfortable with showing a lot of cleavage will still feel good in it.

This fabric is like a tapestry fabric and of jewel tones compliment your skin tone this will pop. This was my second choice for a formal event; it can accommodate full bust so long as you are ok with cleavage. I would suggest body tape instead of a bra (if it can hold me it can hold you, so fear not).

Loved the fabric but as I am short-waisted and a 36D, this was not the best fit or look for me. If you are 5'6" and taller and wearing 4' heels I do encourage you to choose the long as it will not puddle on the floor.

This was my second choice and while I did not wear it to my event, I will absolutely rent it again in the future. Stretchy and forgiving material, perfect length, and being an athletic build with full bust this is the first partially-strapless dress I've ever been able to actually fit in up top and have it fit true to size elsewhere. The ruffled detailing at top is sophisticated and stand-out. Can be word without bra as the ruffle will hide the beams, but you may want tape to maintain lift!

Rented 8L for formal event. Am 5'6", 130, 36D with athletic build/weightlifting. The regular wasn't available and I'm so glad; in 4" heels the long was perfect. This dress creates a beautiful silhouette and is incredibly forgiving. No Spanx required for the evening! A regular bra cannot be worn but body tape will do the job easily and there are fantastic options on Amazon. If tape can hold me it can most certainly hold you, so don't let that be a hurdle in your decision making.
