I wore this to a day exploring Newport, Rhode Island. I wore my typical size - medium- but am so HAPPY I packed my shapewear for this garment. However I still felt this dress hugged me in odd ways at times and made me unshapely. It’s a different kind of knit fabric- a little warmer and a little more structured- which is part of the uniqueness that drew me in. It still has some stretch in it. Many pictures were not great angles of my curves (stomach, hips, backside ) but some turned out super cute. Overall this garment fit that coastal holiday vibe I chased. I’m glad I tried it.

I've had my eye on this one piece for a while for a tropical vacation to Mexico. It photographs really cute and is unique so I am glad I rented it but not sure I would rent again! As a small chested person, one can see that the top part sort of poofs out (baggie) where there is extra room. The pants portion ran very short on me but I still used 3 inch beige heels and fully embraced the gaucho pant look. I rented this for my sisters engagement party at a high end lunch spot. Because the dress doesn't hug my lower half, I managed to get into a 4 when I'm normally a 6 (however the 6 would've been fine for me too, 5"7, 150# and curvy hip/butt, 34b). Lots of compliments. Feminine, light, comfortable, beautiful detail on the fabric with a subtle shimmer. I agree with the comments regarding pinning the bow back with safety pins so it does not flop. I wore a sticky bra since it is backless. It really is a high end, exquisite garment. I guess only four stars bc it is just a little too blush/pale for my coloring.

I go between a size 4 and size 6 in Lily P depending on whether its a romper, maxi dress and type of fabric. I guessed wrong with a 4 in this case given my larger backside, tummy and hips. If I raised my arms above my head, my hiney would show. If I did not keep my core tight, my tummy would pop out. I guess I originally thought this would be a rayon/spandex type dress. I cannot recall what fabric it is; just know that the fabric is structured with less room to give. Also very short. Overall cute look if you get the right size. The more structured fabric actually makes it look more expensive looking. I made it work for a very quick dinner out with trusted friends.

Oh my, did I receive epic compliments the evening I worse this!! I am 5'7 & 145 pounds & 3 inch heels seemed to work great to avoid it on floor (I read on some reviews that was an issue). I am 5'7 140# with curvy hip, butt, thighs and went with the small even though it was a little tight (wore spanx) because it was a bit more of an edgy look than the medium which came across a bit more matronly. Its not a total show stopper like some garments on RTR but the fabric is quality and thick (kept me warm without a coat in 60 degree weather). I have curvy hips and butts and getting the slacks over my backside was tight. The zipper was on backside and very difficult to zip up (not because i was too big) but design issue. Every trip to bathroom literally took 5 min extra time to successfully zip the pants. No give in pants either ... after I sat a couple times, the seam in backside below zipper started to pull apart (micro tear). The pants were uncomfortable and stiff. Wouldn't rent again but it's hard finding unique slacks so I'm glad I tried them out.

I'm a 34b/medium girl and the medium jacket felt snug. Would be difficult (impossible) to zip up all the way if it was really cold or challenging to raise arms over heard. But the sleeve length was good for me. The belt on the coat also doesn't detach... sewn into loopholes. I wish it was removable bc sometimes the belt competed w my outfits I wore (so in this pic, for example, I loosened belt and stuffed a bit of each side of belt into my right/left jacket pockets).
