This was a Gala event in Metro Detroit
This dress was great! I have an hourglass figure and it hugged all of the right curves and made me feel beautiful. The only thing I had to watch for was stepping on the hem, as there are several layers and the mesh overlay caught on my heel several times.

Loved this dress!
I totally would have worn this dress to my event but it got stuck in shipping due to a snowstorm. RTR was awesome and overnights me a different dress, but this one came the following Monday, so I had to try it on! The color is an interesting hue of blue. They only sent me a size 12 even though I typically wear a 10. I would think the 10 would have fit, but it would have been right through the hips because this 12 fit just right through the hip but a little bigger in the midsection.

Just the right shimmer
This dress was cute, which is not my normal style. I'm more of a sheath girl, but my first option was caught in a snowstorm, so RTR overnights me this. I normally wear a 10, which did for me, but my torso is a little longer, so I went with the 12 to allow the waistline to hit me at the right spot. The underarms were a little scratchy, but I quickly forgot about that as the drinks started coming to the table.

This dress made me feel like a million bucks! I had a million compliments and the color was great!
I loved how unique this dress was. The color wasn't quite navy blue, but wasn't quite royal blue either. Somewhere in between. I have a larger bust (36D) so like the other reviewer mentioned, a backless bra (nubra) was needed. The length was perfect and a great pair of black heels completed the look. I was able to dance easily...however getting in and out of a car was a little bit of a challenge. Cons: The ONLY wrong with this size 10 was the zipper seam allowance was taken just a little bit too narrow at one point making it impossible to zip up without someone else helping me. I also wear a pretty solid 8, but a size 10 was needed to get my hips and chest into this dress. Not a real con, but just something to know when ordering.
