I rented a Tibi dress (Pansy Print Tunic) for a wedding, but I've always wanted to try this dress out. Since you get a 2nd dress for a discount - I thought why not. Let me start by saying that I love beading. Love shimmer. But this dress felt matronly which sounds weird but it didn't feel very young and fresh. Not sure why that is. It's super short which should give it a young feel but the way it snaps together and hangs feels like something a cougar might wear in Vegas. I desperately wanted to love this dress but it just wasn't my thing. As far as size goes, it fit my chest and waist fine and the weight of the dress was something I actually liked. It was constructed really well. But wow was this dress short. I'm a short girl so most things look longer on me and this was just crazy. Totally inappropriate for anything other than a nightclub. I'm no prude and I love dressing wild but if another girl wore this to the wedding then she would be getting some definite looks - not the good kind. In the end I'm glad I rented this dress. That's what RTR is for - trying on new amazing outfits without regret and finding gems along the way (like the Tibi dress I ended up wearing). Looking forward to renting again soon from RTR. Thanks for always help me look my best :)

This dress was my first choice for a wedding I attended last week. When it arrived I loved it. I tried it on and it was perfect from the waist down. But huge on the top (length and width) - and I am not small on top. Luckily I had asked for a size smaller, and with enough fashion tape the top might have worked (if I didn't move that much) but the bottom half was painfully tight. Sigh. I really wanted it to work. It really is a great dress. I think if you have a long torso and straight hip this may hang on you best but the fight between the top and the bottom was too much for me. Thinking of buying the dress though and having it altered. Yeah, it is that great.

I wore this to a wedding that spanned from afternoon to late night and it worked perfectly. It was sexy, fun and super comfy. Wore it with a pair of awesome black heels and got a ton of compliments - especially on the arm cutout detailing. It was the perfect length as well which is unusual since most dress run long on me as I am shorter than the avg girl. Wanted to rent this dress for another wedding in a week and see that it is unavailable for over a month - if it is available for your event don't waste a second and grab it while you can.
